Everyone gathered in the hall, with Amreen and Azka joining them. Shahnaz asked, "So, you're saying you know everyone here? They're your relatives?"
Azka replied, "Yes, child. These are our close relatives. My elder uncle, Mamu Jaan."
Zafar inquired, "Why didn't you ever tell us?"
Azka explained, "It never came up in the conversation."
Amreen's eyes widened as she realized, "So, you mean I'm at my own grandfather's house? And all of them are my cousins?"
Azka smiled, "Yes, my dear. They're all your cousins. Those two are your uncles, those two are your aunts, this is your Khala Jaan (aunt), and that's your Nanu Jaan (grandfather)."
Amreen looked around at each of them, taking in the new family connections. Nayab sat beside her and affectionately kissed her head, welcoming her to the family.
Nayab said, "You can't help but feel a connection with your own family. Haven't I told you, Bhabhi (sister-in-law), Amreen seems just like one of us."
Falak agreed, "You're right, Nayab. Baba Jaan (Dad) and Amreen had become so attached."
Nawazuddin added, "We felt like Amreen was one of our own. Her face resembles my sister's."
Azka nodded, "You're right, Mamu Jaan."
Nawazuddin asked, "Azka, how's your mother? How's Raunak?"
Azka's expression turned somber, "Mamu Jaan, she passed away 10 years ago, the same evening we last spoke."
Nawazuddin was shocked, "What? She... She passed away 10 years ago, that same evening?"
Azka confirmed, "Yes, Mamu Jaan."
The room fell silent, with everyone whispering a prayer, "Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un" (To God we belong and to God we return).
Nayab said, "We never got to see Phuphi Jaan."
Shahbaz said, "We met twice, but because of Ammi."
Azka replied, "Let's forget the past. What's gone is gone. It's better to move forward with what we have now."
Nawazuddin agreed, "That's right. Azka, come, let me introduce you to the rest. This is Rohail, our eldest grandson."
Azka and Rohail exchanged warm smiles.
Nawazuddin continued, "And this is Ramsha, Rohail's wife. She's a lovely girl."
Ramsha greeted her, "Assalamualaikum!! We owe you a greeting."
Azka replied, "Walaikum assalam, beta. May Allah bless you."
Ramsha thanked her, "Thank you, Phuphi Jaan."
Amreen added, "Ammi, Ramsha Bhabhi has taken care of me like a sister all this time."
Nawazuddin nodded, "That's true. Ramsha has taken care of Amreen like a true sister. And Laiba has too."
Azka said, "Thank you, beta. May Allah always keep your blessings abundant and never let your pockets be empty. May Allah always keep you happy. You've taken such good care of our daughter."
Ramsha replied, holding Azka's hand, "What are you saying, Phuphi Jaan? No need to thank me. Amreen is like our own sister."
Azka kissed Ramsha's hand and bestowed her with numerous blessings. She also thanked Laiba.
Nawazuddin mentioned, "Laiba is Nayab's daughter. And she has a son too, who's currently out for some work."
Azka smiled, "Nayab, Laiba is your complete childhood."
