matt finds a parking spot at the airport, and shuts the car off. he texts laura to let her know where his car is and that he's gonna hide the keys ontop of the tire so she can take his car back to his house as always.
before leaving the car, matt hands kaia a waterbottle to drink so she can sober up a bit, chris also offers chloe one.
the two girls chug their water, and feel a bit better. everyone climbs out of the car and grabs their bags from the trunk. matt helps kaia carry hers because she has an extra bag with all her birthday stuff.
they make it inside, past security and tsa, and wait outside their gate for boarding in 10 minutes.
kaia tries not to fall asleep as she rests her head on matt's shoulder. they hear their la to boston flight called over the speaker, and everyone heads to the gate to board.
once on the plane, kaia decides she will fall asleep on matt's shoulder. the entire flight, she sleeps on him and he doesn't bother to wake her up or dare to move in the slightest.
