the bell rings after first period is over and kaia and chloe pack up their bags and start heading for the library.
they see the triplets and nate enter the library from down the hall and they catch up and walk in just as they're settling and sitting down in their usual corner.
"hey, chloe." chris greets her as she joins him sitting on the library couch.
"hey." she smiles, resting her head on his shoulder.
matt is already on the bean bag chair, and kaia sits down next to him. he puts his arm around her and she rests her head on his chest while they share airpods and listen to music.
cases under the bed, spill it open. let it rush to my head, i don't wanna be forward. i don't wanna cut corners. savor this with everything i have inside of me, i'm not the type to run, i know that we're having fun. but what's the rush? kissing, then my cheeks are so flushed. tell you how i felt sugar coated melting in your mouth, pardon my emotions. i should probably keep it all to myself.
matt pecks a quick kiss to kaia's lips when nobody is looking, and she seemed stunned.
"matt." she scolds him.
"what?" he whispers back.
she shakes her head in dissaproval and chloe takes notice of the two whispering.
"stop flirting with my bestfriend, matthew." chloe wags her finger from her seat next to chris.
"stop being territorial of my girlfriend, chloe." he mocks.
"that's enough." she shakes her head, glaring at kaia.
"what did i do?" kaia defends herself.
"cut it out. both of you." chloe wanrs them.
"i'm not doing anything." matt retorts.
"yes, you are. you're rubbing your stupid little happy relationship in all our faces." chloe rolls her eyes and crosses her arms.
chris makes a confused face and looks at kaia who is equally as confused of what to say.
"jealous? wish chris would ask you out?" matt teases.
"matt, i'm gonna strike you." chloe huffs.
"chloe." kaia laughs.
"keep him under control, girl." chloe jokes.
she pulls out her phone and starts texting kaia, she pauses the music and matt sighs and throws his head back in the chair.
