Riches. They were still in the middle of the ocean, as Kenji had mentioned the previous night, the yacht was drifting due to the lack of gas. "Hurry up, Darius! With the engine off, we're gonna get swept out to sea or smash into the rocks!" Kenji yelled from above.
Darius was checking on the poorly patched hole on the side of the boat and he applied more duct tape as he hung over the side of the yacht by a rope around his waist. He sighed, "All right, pull me up!" He yelled and Sammy along with Yasmina began pulling.
"We've gotta fix that hole or the gas will be the least of our problems." Darius said as he untied the rope from his waist, "I thought having no GPS was the least of our problems." Kenji wondered as he climbed down the ladder, regrouping with them.
Brooklynn and Louise sat in a booth together and observed a park map. "Yeah and uh not to add to the doom and gloom but..." Yasmina began and the boat bobbed down and then back up with a significant creek. "...pretty sure we're also sinking."
"Nah...We're just riding low in the water cause of uh..." Kenji replied, turning to Ben and Bumpy before clearing his throat. Bumpy groaned.
"Do not listen to him," Ben whispered, "You're perfect the way you are." He patted her head.
"Isn't there some non-dino infested dock we can get to?" Ben spoke up. "The closest one is on the other side of the island." Brooklynn answered. "We'll never make it, we're doomed and gloomed." She added.
"What if we just stayed on this dock? The Ouranosauruses could be gone by now. It's lighter, they can see the way off the dock. We could turn around and keep exploring this dock we're near." Louise explained.
"We wouldn't have enough gas to retreat if the Ouranosauruses are still on the dock," Darius pointed out. "Ha! Hold up! There is another dock not far from here! A private dock, that's not on any map!" Kenji exclaimed, sprinting over to the side of the boat. "Gonna need more context than that." Louise said, tilting her head slightly in confusion.
"The dock near the P-house!" Kenji announced. They continued to stare at him in confusion, "I went before we left." Ben said. "No, not the—" Kenji began, "My dad's penthouse!" He flexed his arms.
"There's a private pier and everything!" Kenji explained. "And you're now just telling us this?" Yasmina asked. "Okay, well, maybe I forgot, but now we have a magic keycard to get inside so.....meh!" Kenji responded, still standing on the side of the boat.
"That penthouse could have everything we need!" Darius said. "Will have everything we need." Kenji corrected him, "My dad loves boats, he's got all sorts of nautical junk." He added.
"To the P-House!" Darius shouted, "To the P-House!" Everyone else chanted after him.
Kenji managed to use the rest of the gas in the yacht to steer it to the other side of the island, where this so called 'P-House' or 'Kenji's dad's penthouse' was.
He had talked about it any chance he got (which wasn't a lot) but he had been dying to take them.
"That's it. That's the last of the gas." Darius said. "Totally worth it. 'Cause you're about to see the most exclusive spot on the island!" Kenji assured proudly.
"At the penthouse, we travel in style!" Kenji announced as if he was the next Dave, but a more touristy version of him. "It's only a short ride away." Kenji continued to announce as Louise gripped onto Ben's waist tightly. "Cool, huh?"
"Thanks to B's magic keycard opening every door on the island, I'll finally get to show you guys my home away from home." He said as he swerved around the five others on the green segways that they found.
