Julian's POV
"Everyone is in Paris and you're staying here" Piper pointed out. "Why?"
She was different from other girls, didn't put up with my shit, put me in my place.
I didn't want this to happen, didn't want to let her in my heart.
Jayden was right about that as well - it's dangerous.
But I was being selfish. I couldn't help it, I had to admit that I fell for her.
"Jayden thinks we are robbing the Louvre"
She snorted, it was her that gave me the idea. Not that I was actually gonna do it, not now at least.
But I needed him there. On camera.
"Besides, I have to stay for the traditional dinner, right?" I said as I got up, walked to her and pulled her against my body.
"Wait, did you stay for the dinner?"
"It's important for you and Nova" I shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal.
She wouldn't admit it, would always tell you that Nova was the one who liked those dinners, but she did as well.
"I knew there was a heart under all those tattoos, muscles and scars" she said as she put her hand on my chest.
And right now, I wanted to tell her how much I love her, but instead, I pressed my lips against hers, picking her up and carrying her to the couch.
"Are you still planning on robbing that museum?" She asked, laying down on my chest.
"No, not really"
I wasn't planning on robbing anything anymore.
Maybe Nova was right, maybe this normal life wasn't as bad as I thought.
I now completely understood what she was talking about.
"Why not?" She asked. "Too dangerous?"
I chuckled, putting my hand under her shirt to brush her back.
It wasn't too dangerous. It would actually be quite easy.
Laying here with Pipes, thinking about a normal life. That was dangerous.
"No, I just want to be with y-"
And then my sister disturbed our moment. She walked into my place, crying, probably for a while now.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Lando gave me this" Nova said, opening her hand and revealing a key. "The key to his apartment"
Piper looked at me confused.
Confused on why she was crying about that.
"I guess that's what you wanted all along" she threw the key at me, and wanted to walk out of my place again.
"Hey" I said, grabbing her arm and pulling her back. "I never wanted this and I still don't want this"
"You wanted to steal from Lando, you came into his life just to mess it up" she pushed me away. "While he did nothing to you, has always loved me in ways you will never understand"
"Nova I-"
"No Julian, I cut you out of my life once, and I will do it again now. Please leave. Get out of Monaco, get out of my life"
She opened the door but before leaving, she looked at me one more time.
"You will never feel love like Lando and I do. No one will ever love you because you don't love people, you only use them"
She shook her head, looked me straight in the eyes. "Just like dad"
