A Careless Soul // ghost x reader

A Risky Deal.

Price began to speak again. "Look I'll make a deal with you. Answer our questions and maybe.. if you behave and answer. We'll let Phoenix go." Price said. My head slowly turned up to face them. They'll .. let her go?.. I stared at them with the blank dark eyes. I couldn't trust this.i looked back down staying quiet.. After a few moments of silence..Price speaks up. "You dosent seem to trust us eh? We'll allow you out the cell to see her go. She won't be getting any cars out of her or anything." Price said.

After I few moments I begun to speak "how do I know you not lying.." I say in a cold low tone. Ghost glares at me. Price crosses his arms. "Because in the next few seconds, you'll hear her cell. Just a few cells down.. unlock, and you'll hear her getting her gear and leaving. But that's your choice. " he said with a smirk. They knew they had me in another trap. I knew that one of us would escape, but it wouldn't be me. I sighed, "Alright.. Deal." I said in a quiet voice, a little too quiet. "Speak up soldier." Ghost said. "Deal." I say raising my voice a bit.

Ghost and price nod. "Alright start talking." Ghost saids with his British accent showing a little. "My company's name Is Blackout 301, Captains name is blade, We sent a spy on you to grab files on each member on this team.. So far we have Soap and Gaz's information. And if we're planning an attack. Probably, I don't know." I said looking down at the floor. That was only a part of the valuable information a had, I didn't want to tell them everything I knew yet till they kept the end of the deal. "Anything else? we need more than that for us to trust you." Price said.
I continue to look down. "Like I said I don't know if we're planning an attack.. I know that blade doesn't like this company.." I said.. I began to speak again.

"because he used to be here aren't I correct?" I continued to say. Price eyes had grown dark. "Correct.. He was a traitor many years ago. " Price said looking at the floor then me. Ghost seemed to look at price, he knew some of the things about blade. "But yes, as if now we have information on two of the members on this team .. All the other members we only have no to little information on.. And as you told me he's a traitor to your team and he doesn't take you guys as a friend.So don't expect nothing to come your way." I said in a cold tone. Price and ghost nodded, "well come back later to tell you if the information you told us is valid, then we'll keep our end of the deal." Price said.

Price and ghost exited out of my cell locking em in again. For what felt like days was really only hours. I stared into the walls waiting for them to come back.. I hear the key click. "You were correct. Surprisingly enough." Price saids, ghost looks at me and begins to speak again. "Now see it wasn't so hard now wasn't? All those days of us tasing and beating you.. now come to this." Ghost saids with a smirk. Price walks towards me and ghost had a gun in his hand ready to see if I was going to try to escape. "Try to escape with your little friend and I shoot you down." Ghost saids. Price kneels down and cuts the rope on my legs. I slowly get up as price walks out of the cell waiting for me to walk out. As I walk out of the cell I see Phoenix in her gear, she doesn't have a gun or anything though.

When she sees that I'm out of my cell, she immediately runs to me, Ghost puts the bullets in the gun ready to fire. Phoenix practically jumps onto me and hugs me tightly. She tightly hugs me and knows that I can't hug her back due to the cuffs. She backs up as she looks at me with a smile and calm eyes. "Thank you Ace.. I really own you one. Please don't get killed..Stay strong for us.." She saids. She comes closer to my ear. "Well come get you eventually.. Alright?" She saids. Ghost and price decide not to ruin the moment and let us be for a few moments. I give Phoenix a thumbs up and a fake faint smile. She knew that I was fake smiling but she appreciated the gesture.

As we both looked at each other price began to speak again. "Alright.. enough of this, it's time for her to leave." Price said. Phoenix nodded as she began to walk beside me to the entrance gates. She continued to talk to me about we she had been through while we were both locked up, She wasn't through too much so she was in good shape. I nodded as she continued talking as we walked to the gate. As we finally were at the gates it was time to say goodbye, price and ghost stood at the entrance doors of the base as they watched us talk. I turned around to see ghost ready to fire at me. I turn back to see Phoenix. "See you on the other side." I say looking at her.. I feel some type of emotion.. I think it's relief?.. I couldn't put my finger on it but I felt calm..

She begins to tear up and tightly hugs me not wanting to let go. "See you.. I'll miss you ace. Please stay safe for me. " She saids, we say our final goodbyes as I watch her walk out into the forest as she disappears into the fog. I was in no condition to get shot so I turn around to ghost and price, Both nodding at me. My mood turns back to the way it was. I start to walk back to them as ghost lowers his gun down. As I walk to them price nods. "Good girl." Ghost saids as he pats my head. "Keep giving us valuable info and you'll get rewards." Price saids. I nod as they walk me back to my cell for the night. Price decided to head back to his office on the way to my cell so Ghost walked me. When we finally got to my cell he walked me inside , he waited at the doorway for me to walk inside.

As I walked inside I was about to sit on the chair when ghost spoke. "Not so fast solider." Ghost said. He showed me a key for my handcuffs. "This is your second reward. Price told me to do this since he is busy at the moment." he said sternly. He walked towards me and came close. He grabbed my wrist a little aggressively with one of his hands and opened the cuffs with another. He took the handcuffs from my hand. "I'll be back tomorrow with soap." Ghost said. I had never spoken to soap all the time I'd been here. Ghost left the cell locking the door looking at me as he left.. I soon walked to the cell's bed and drifted asleep in the cell after a few minutes.
