A Careless Soul // ghost x reader

Almost caught.

As ghost see's the strange men from before walk back upstairs near the VIP rooms, ghost grabs my hand and takes me to the 6th VIP room. As we walk into the room there's a couch, a pole and some dim purple lights. Ghost quickly sits on the couch as he puts his hands on my waist to place me onto his lap. I didn't say a word as I felt his breath on my neck. I pull back to face him directly.

He looked a bit taken but yet nervous. I hear the men start to walk near our door as ghost suddenly  kisses me. My eyes widened as I felt that feeling again getting stronger and stronger. Even after the men had left our room we kept going. After a minute or so I back away, as both of us are left breathless. I back away slowly to face him as we're both still on the couch." I-... what was that..?" I say to him. "M..my apologies.. " Ghost said. "Let's just go.." I say as I get off of his lap and wait for him to get up aswell.

As he gets up from the couch we both get out of the room to check if the coast is clear, as we both walk out we're both still breathless as we're both still slowly breathing in and out deeply. We glanced at eachother from time to time as that lustful feeling lingers. "Y/N, Ghost. How are things going?" Price saids over the comms. "Going good sir. Almost at the office." Ghost saids. "Hurry it up, Gaz and Soap are distracting the men upstairs near you two as we speak." Price saids. "Got it sir." I say. We look at eachother and nod as we finally find the room with the office.

The door is locked and we couldn't waste anymore time trying to look for the key. Ghost punched the window and unlocked the door knob. We quickly grabbed the files we saw and looked for anything else. I look around the room as I see two men at the door with guns. "Ghost, we need to go now." I say as i make eye contact with the two strange men. As ghost turns around to see the men he stuff the files into his suit and we both quickly resolve to fight or flight mode. As bullet flare around the room I quickly knock out one of the two men and ghost chokes the other cold.

As we both run out we hear the alarms start flaring and we run out. Soap and Gaz are right behind us. All four of us see that we're are wya to many guards at the front, we don't have much time to think. As I quickly scanned the stair case I see and entrance to the balcony. "Over here!!" I shout. Gaz and soap start dashing to the balcony as me and ghost follow behind. As we locked the door of the balcony we look down to see how far the jump is. " it isn't that far we can make it." Gaz saids. "Ladies first." Soap saids as he turns to look at me. My eyes go back to normal as there is no shine in it anymore. "Fine , just keep up." I say as I look at him with blank eyes.

I jump off my body rolls over to the parking lot. As I stand up quickly I get a dizzy feeling but put up a thumbs up. "Alright I'm good. Jump!!" I say. Soap jumps as Gaz and Ghost follows behind. Ghost and Gaz run to get the car started as me and soap follow. Some files fly out of Ghost's suit so I go and retrieve them. Soap looks back as he sees me go to get the files. "Jade we have to go it's not worth it!!" Soap saids. I didn't hear him, I dashed it grab the files and as I'm grabbing them off the floor someone comes up from behind and shoots my leg. The same place ghost had shot me the first time we met. "AGH!!" I screamed.

Ghost immediately came rushing to me and Soap ran over the the guy and put a knife to his throat and ended him right there and then. Ghost picked me up as I still had the files in my hands. Ghost ran to the car as soap ran behind. Ghost got in the car and slammed the door as soap went in as I was still in his arms. Ghost ripped off his sleeve and tied it around my wound. "You'll be alright. Thank you for doing that Y/N." Ghost said calmly. "If you're feeling lightheaded please get rest soldier." Ghost continued to say as my vision started to drift to black.

As I was asleep soap Gaz and ghost were all talking about what they were doing on the mission, ghost was rather quiet about what had happened on the mission so soap and Gaz had teased him about it. "Soap, status report." Price saids on the comms "coming captain, only one wounded." Soap said. "Got it, send them to the infirmary once you get here." Price said.Soap tried to rush home but there was a lot of traffic on the way back to base so Ghost kept checking on Y/N and her wound to see if she was still breathing and if her wound was bleeding out.

"I hope she's doing okay." Ghost thinks
