A Careless Soul // ghost x reader

Trying To Gain Trust.

When the sky finally turned black we all went back inside. Price was at the entrance of the cells waiting for us. "Ace. Inside." Price said, he looked mad for some reason. I nodded and walked to my cell going inside. Price walked over to my door and locked it. Price then walked back to Gaz and Ghost signaling them to his office. "Office now." He said.

As the three of them went into his office price looked at him. "What were you two doing with her?" Price said. They both didn't answer. "Answer me." He said raising his voice. "She had asked to see the sunset and we both took her to an area where she could see it." Gaz said. Price nodded. "Was this a place she wasn't supposed to see?" He asked. "No sir, it was on the roof." Ghost said. Price nodded. "You two need to tell me this whenever you do something like this. Alright?." Gaz and Ghost both nodded, "Gaz your dismissed." Price said. Gaz nodded "yes sir." "Ghost , dismissed." Price said. Ghost nodded and walked out the room.

Both Gaz and Ghost headed to their quarters and went to sleep. The next day Price let me out again outside. I sat on the grass just like yesterday. Luckily today wasn't so hot out, it was a little cloudy out. I looked at the flowers on the grass, the yellow ones and the white ones. Until I saw a rose. I didn't see this flower there yesterday.. this flower stuck out from the others. As I went to go pluck it out Ghost came and also went to get the flower, I felt his hand brush over mine as I slowly took my hand back. He quickly put his hand back aswell. We both looked away. "Seems like you two have something in common." Gaz said with a rather silly voice. Gaz laughed, "She dosent like physical touch aswell." Gaz said still laughing.
"Not funny." Ghost said as we made eye contact.

I felt something in my weird stomach when we made eye contact.. I didn't understand this feeling. It wasn't a stomach ache.. it was like a happy feeling in my stomach.. like if butterflies were stuck in my stomach.. I looked away as Ghost realized I looked weird for a moment, "you alright mate?" he asked. I nodded as I looked away. Gaz raised his eyebrow as ghost looked at him. "Don't even think about it Gaz." Ghost said giving him a glare. Gaz rolls his eyes and chuckles. "may I take this rose?" Ghost said. I nodded. Gaz smiles at this interaction. "Ghost likes to collect roses and put them into a vase." Gaz saids. Ghost gives him another glare as Gaz puts his hands up in a defeated way as he burst out laughing.

As the day ended the sun began to set again. This time Gaz couldn't watch it with us since he had a short mission with soap. So me and ghost had went up to the roof to watch it again. We were mostly quiet. We asked eachother questions about eachother for a few, like how old we were.. where were we from.. things like that. I got to know ghost better. He was 27, from England, he liked roses and didn't like physical touch either. "Do you know why you can't feel emotions.. or have trouble feeling them?" Ghost asked me. I shake my head no. "I don't know." I said with an unexpressive tone. "It could be from trauma." He said with a reserved tone. "It's why I don't like physical touch. That might be why you can't feel emotions." He said.

I nodded."probably.." I say quietly. We keep quiet as the sun continues to set as the sky fully turns black and the stars are out. As me and ghost walk down the stairs back to the entrance, he walks to the area where the cell's keys are and grabs my cell key. "Alright, time for bed soldier." Ghost saids. He walks me to my cell as we finally get to it.. "Cell- 13.." I thought. I walk inside as ghost speaks quietly again. "Goodnight." He said. "..Goodnight." I reply. As I go to sleep and Ghost locks the cell door, Gaz walks up to ghost.. "Hey price wants us at his office." Gaz said, Ghost and Gaz both walk to price's office.

As Gaz and Ghost opened the door price lifted his head to look at the two of them. "Ghost.. Gaz, I'd need to tell you something." Price said." We will have a mission tomorrow. With this mission, I have a surprise coming in to the team temporarily." Price continued to say, both ghost and Gaz are confused. "You'll see them tomorrow." Price said as he looked down at the papers on his desk. "We don't know if they will stay with us or if they will stay temporarily, but we will find out after the mission is finished tomorrow." Price said. "Your both dismissed." Price said. "Yes sir." Both Gaz and Ghost said. Gaz walked out first as ghost waited a few seconds before leaving aswell.

Gaz was waiting for ghost outside. Ghost starts to walk beside Gaz. "Who do you think will be coming? A new recruit? Maybe Ace..?" Gaz asked. "He wouldn't let Ace come in. It's about to hit the 3 month mark since they've been here. I doubt it." Ghost responded. "You never know." Gaz said as they both arrived to their quarters. "Goodnight." Gaz said. "Night." Ghost said as they both went into their rooms and went to bed.

In the morning, price called team 141 into the training room. "Hello Ghost , Gaz and Soap." Price said. "As I have told Ghost and Gaz, we will be having a surprise today. Before I talk about that.. We have a mission today, we will steal information and take a member of a group called "Red spades." They're an Italian mafia group. They have information on the new recruits that have just joined a couple of months ago, and we cannot have their weaknesses and personal information spilled around between mafia groups." Price said. "And someone who we've just met recently has also had a rivalry with them aswell." Price said looking at his office door. "You can come out now.. Y/N."
