A Careless Soul // ghost x reader

Apart of the team.

-2 day timeskip-

It's been two days since the..meet up with blackout. For the past 2 days everyone on 141 is getting to know artemis, price had him in a room for questioning for a day. But now he's on trial to see if he's worthy and trustable. But..am i?

Price called me to his office. "hello, Y/n." Price said, "Hello sir.." I said as i sat down on a chair. "So.. as i've said during out last meeting, if you did 2-3 more missions i believe i said.. You'll be on the team." Price said as I nodded. "With last mission alone i was trying to see if you we're trust worthy.. And was having my doubts." Price continued. "But, i have to admit. What you did back there with blackout was brave. And the fact that you.. Blackout's best soldier, went to us? it's quite questionable." price said getting to the point. "before i continue..I just wanted to know why. Why did you join to us instead of them? despite us only knowing you for about 5 months now." price said.

"..i had a thought, about this team." i said,

 "i thought about if it was worth giving you guys the last bit of trust i had stored in me. And well.. i've starting to think i should. I mean well, look at everyone on the team. I'm not a person for compliments but.. Ghost? Although he has this cold demeanor, He still tries to help others." i said.

" Gaz? he's very outgoing and although i was from an enemy team, He still put his trust onto me, Gaz was the first one to trust me." i said my tone softening ever so slightly.

Soap? well, although he didn't trust me at all at first, he's still a wise guy. Jason and todd? they both helped me knowing i was an enemy just like gaz. Overall.. This team..it "feels" like a team worth giving my trust too." i said

Price nodded. "Although you don't show much. I believe your a trust-worthy person." he said's fixing his posture and sitting up straight. "As i was saying before i asked the question, You're on the team. Like i said, what you did back there? it was brave. Even putting the knife to your own teammate to see if he was on our side? That right there, showed me you were going to be a trust-worthy person on our team." Price said giving a faint smile. "Now.. One more thing. I've heard you don't like being calling your real name hmm?" Price asked. I nodded. "Just like ghost." He chuckled. "Anyways, Since we don't want to use the same codename your old team gave you.." he said looking down for a sec then looking back at me. 

"How does the codename.. Blackout, sound?" he said. "Basically a revenge name to your team eh? " he said as i nodded."anyways.." He said as he brought his hand out for me to shake. "Welcome to the team,  Blackout." He said as i shook his hand. "You may leave my office now." he said smiling. I soon left, as i closed his office door.. Ghost , Gaz and soap were all standing infront of me. "CONGRATSSS AAAA!" Gaz said happily. "Congrats, black." Soap said. Ghost's gaze softened ever so slight. "Congrats." he said putting a thumbs up. "..T-..Thank you..!" i said. 

After that Gaz and Soap said they had something for me, but they'd give it tomorrow. Ghost stood behind. "Blackout hm..? nice nickname." He said. "Thanks ." I said. "So.. Remember how i said we had a nurse on base that could help with your emotions?" He said. i nodded, "Well, if you'd like.. We can see her now." He said. his tone softening. I nodded quickly, He let out a soft chuckle. "Alright, let's go." he said. 

We both walked into this Hospital like room. We walked in to see a rather young Nurse in the room, She had dark blue hair with black at the ends. "Oh hello!!!" she said with a smile, "you must be Y/N! Which i seee on the file hehe!" She said. "Hello Nurse Vi." Ghost said. She greeted Ghost as-well. After talking for a bit, Ghost left leaving me and Ms.Vi alone..

"So..uhm..Nurse Vi?" I asked, She was at the door closing it. "Yes? And no worries you can just call me Vi.. I'm younger than you hehe!" Vi saids. "Oh okay.. Well.. Vi, i was wondering.. How can you help trigger my emotions?" I ask. "It will be quite simple, yet hard at the same time." She begins to explain. "basically what i'm going to have to do is show you and or bring you objects that will trigger either positive memories, or negative memories. This will trigger a emotion towards you since ever since age 9.. You have quite felt anything. Even before age 9 you've never felt anything positive." she saids.

"So, although i'd like not too.. We're going to have to work on negative emotions first since you've felt them in the past." She saids sighing. I nodded. 

"alright. Would you like to start?" She asked, her tone turning comforting and soft.

i nodded.. 

"Alright hun.. Let's get started!" She said as she walked to the closet.
