"Giants In The Sky" (mantis sings)

A/N: THIS ISN'T A ROMANCE ONE SHOT. MORE OF A FRIENDSHIP STORY AND HUMOR STORY.

Earlier this morning:

Po and Monkey were busy laughing hysterically. At Mantis. Who decided to tell a tall tale. But according to Po and Monkey,
"Mantis, why are you telling a tall tale? You're too short for that!" Monkey laughed. Po was on the ground, he was laughing so hard. Mantis decided right then and there he'd get them back.

Now:

Everyone but Shifu and Mantis were in the kitchen. Shifu was meditating. Mantis was about to play a prank on Po and Monkey. He burst into the kitchen, distracting Po from cooking lunch and Tigress and Viper from having a 'girl's talk'. Poor Tigress had a major blush on her face. Luckily, Mantis had disrupted Viper's next question. Viper knew Tigress couldn't lie. Mantis hopped on Tigress shoulder.

Mantis:
"There are Giants in the sky!
There are big tall terrible Giants
in the sky!"
He hopped to Crane's hat.
Mantis:
"When you're way up high,
And you look below,
At the world you left,
And the things you know,
Little more than a glance,
Is enough to show,
You just how small you are!!!
When you're way up high,
And you're own your own,
In a world like none,
That you've ever known,
Where the sky is lead,
And the earth is stone,
You're free, to do
Whatever pleases you,
Exploring things you'd never dare,
'Cause you don't care!!!"
Mantis hopped to Monkey's shoulder.
Mantis:
"When suddenly there's
A big tall terrible Giant at the door,
A big tall terrible lady Giant
sweeping the floor.
And she gives you food
And she gives you rest
And she shows you
All of her giant nest...
And you know things now
that you never knew before,
Not till the sky.
Only just when you've made
A friend and all,
And you know she's big
But you don't feel small,
Someone bigger than her
Comes along the hall
To swallow you for lunch.
And you heart is lead
And your stomach stone
And you're really scared
Being all alone..."
Mantis hopped over to Po and stood next to the noodles he was cooking on the stove.
Mantis:
"And it's then that you miss
All the things you've known
And the world you've left
And the little you own-
The fun is done.
You steal what you can and run.
And you scramble down
And you look below,
And the world you know
Begins to grow:
The roof, the palace, and your Master meditating on the floor.
The roof, the palace and the world you never thought to explore.
And you think of all of the things you've seen,
And you wish that you could live in between,
And you're back again,
Only different than before,
After the sky.
There are Giants in the sky!
There are big tall terrible awesome scary wonderful
Giants in the sky!"
Mantis finished singing. Po and Monkey looked at him. "Is that all true?" Po asked. A shudder went through the ground. "The giant's coming to get us!!!!!!! Run!!!!!" Mantis said. Monkey and Po ran out the kitchen screaming. About five minutes later, Master Shifu walked in. "Did it work Mantis?" Shifu said. "Yep! They bought it!" Mantis said, high fiving his Master. The remaining masters laughed. "You got to hand it to Mantis," Tigress said between laughing. "He may be small," Viper laughed. "But he can pull some huge pranks!" Crane snickered. Mantis put on a grin. "Would you guys like to hear music from my new harp?" Mantis said, pulling out a golden harp. Everyone but Shifu and Mantis immediately left. Shifu and Mantis fell on the ground laughing hard. "Got em'." Mantis laughed.
