What You Need

'Not again.' Po thought as he heard Tigress crying softly as he walked out of his room. It was 11:55 pm, and the others were asleep. Po was so done with that blasted heartbreak lion. A couple of days ago, Tigress and her boyfriend, Gabe, broke up. Tigress said she dumped him, but Po knew better.  Gabe dumped Tigress because he said "he found someone better" and "he never knew why he dated a monster". Tigress has been crying in her sleep lately, and the sight kills Po. Tonight, it will be different. Po told himself that he was going to make Tigress forget all about that- 'It's best not to think of that kind of word.' Po thought. He slid Tigress's door open and walked over to her, shaking her shoulder. Her reaction was almost immediate. She grabbed his paws and held them behind his back, until she realized who it was. Curiosity getting the best of her; she had completely forgotten that she was crying; she asked him why he woke her. "Tigress, please stop crying. Gabe isn't worth crying over." Po whispered. "Po I wasn't-" Tigress began, but Po cut her off.

"He tells lies, you slam doors,

He makes plans, you change yours,

"Po.." Tigress said.

"But you got this secret you keep

Like the looks that you steal from me

Tigress smiled as Po continued.

Po wiped some of Tigress's tears away.

Viper and Monkey were awake and standing outside the door. "Alright Po!" Monkey cheer whispered. They listened closely as Po continued.

"I'm past him, don't fear him

So don't waste time,

Po pulled Tigress into a hug.

"And you got this secret you keep

Tigress rubbed her head against Po's chest.

Tigress's smile grew, and she began to purr softly.

Po knew it was working. He didn't stop.

Monkey and Viper, well Monkey, weren't the only ones awake anymore. Viper fell asleep against Monkey's shoulder. And Crane and Mantis were already coming up with a plan to get Gabe back for breaking their "sister's" heart. Po continued.

Shifu now walked to the student barracks and listened quietly. Oogway's ghost stood beside him. Both had smiles on their faces.

"What you need.

Po finished his song as Viper woke up and Master Shifu and Oogway left.

"Po! Tigress!" Monkey yelled. "What?!?" Po said getting into a fighting stance like Tigress, only for them to be tackled by their pals who burst through the door. "Oof!" Po said. "I've got an idea to get back at Gabe." Mantis said. Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis nodded. "Why would you want to do that?" Tigress asked. "You're our sister Tigress. Anyone messes with one of us.." Crane said. "They mess with all of us." Viper finished. Tigress smiled. "Besides, you're better with Po anyway." Monkey said. "That's true." Tigress replied. Po got up and did a victory dance. "Now let's go make sure Gabe pays!!!!" Mantis said. For the rest of the night, they devised their plan. And when Gabe went back to his girlfriend, Aimee's house at 3:57 pm, she was shocked to see that she was now dating a purple, blue stripped, green polka-dotted lioness. And Tigress and Po were glad to hear that Shifu approved their relationship.
