Crane was walking in the village when he heard shouting. Being the hero he is, he went towards the commotion. He inwardly gasped as he witnessed one of his best friends, Mei Ling, being pushed around by her boyfriend, Kage. Hot, wet tears streamed down Mei Ling's face. Her make up was running as well. "You ugly, stupid mountain lion! I don't even know why I even loved you! You better stop crying, it's making you uglier." Kage said, laughing. 'That is it!!!!!' Crane thought. "Hey, leave her alone!" he shouted. "Crane?" Mei Ling whispered softly. Crane punched Kage, and pushed him to the ground. "If I ever see you hurt her or come near her again, I will punch you so hard your great, great, great, great grandchildren will have a bruise!" Crane shouted at him. Kage quickly nodded and ran away. Crane turned to Mei Ling. "Don't look at me, Crane." she said. "Mei-" Crane began. "No! I, I look horrible! Just go!" Mei Ling said, crying harder. Crane sighed.

"Pa,pa,party.

You can't help that you've got sad eyes. It hasn't been your day.

Mei Ling's tears started to slow, and she turned to face Crane. Crane, seeing that he finally got her to face him, continued.

Unknown to Crane and Mei Ling, the others were watching silently. Well, all except for Tigress and Po, who were planning to shave Kage bald. Mantis was helping them figure out how they would do so. Crane continued.

Crane wiped Mei Ling's cheeks, cleaning the make up off. Mei Ling began to smile. Crane continued.

Crane finished his song. Mei Ling hugged him and buried her face in his chest feathers. "I should've known that YOU, Crane, were the one I should be with, not Kage. Can you ever forgive me?" Mei Ling asked. "Always." Crane said, leaning down to kiss her cheek, but that moment was ruined by Po, Tigress, Mantis, Monkey, Viper, and Kage; being that Kage was running away from the mentioned five. "I didn't mean any of it!!!! I swear!!!! Eek! Don't cut my fur off!" Kage yelled. "Then don't hurt our friend!!!!" Po yelled. Mantis jumped from Po's shoulder to Kage's shoulder with a razor. "Say it!!!!" Mantis yelled. "Fine!! Mei Ling, I'm sorry! I never meant it!!! I was lucky enough to have you! I was just jealous." Kage yelled. Mei Ling and Crane laughed. "Mantis, shave him." Mei Ling said. Kage went home bald, and Mei Ling went home with Crane.
