Chapter Five

Ben POV

 I knew exactly what he was about to say but at the same time I didn't want to hear it. "I....I don't feel comfortable with how things are going between us"And that's when it hit me I don't think Danny has ever felt comfortable between are relationship. He had always wanted to keep it a secret and he would never hug, kiss or hold hands with me in public. "I understand" I said but inside I was hurting something had always told me that having a relationship with Danny would never work out."Friends?" He asked as he held his hand out."Friends" I responded as I grabbed his hand in response and we both shook hands. 

 Things were getting worse between Danny and the band we would constantly be arguing and fighting about how we wanted the style of the band to go.He spend more time with his side band which meant I knew what was coming next. 

It happened when I woke up to the phone ringing at 11am. I looked to see the caller ID was Danny.I knew it was going to happen but part of me wanted it to all be a dream. "Hello?" I responded."Um....hi.....you know what this is about don't you?" He asked."Y-yeah I do""Ok.....well....I wish you the best of luck with the band....bye" and he hung up. 

 And that's when it hit me the person who I needed the most in life....had left me. I began to hyperventilate and tears began to fall. What was the point in me living if no one was there for me even someone who I loved for song long and who promised would be their for me...had got up and left me.I got off the bed and walked into the bathroom turning the cold shower on and just sat in the bath fully clothed crying. I don't know how long it was minutes?, hours?, seconds? But I faintly heard a voice. "Ben? Ben were are you?" I just ignored it, it was probably my imagination hoping Danny had came back for me.I heard someone walk into the bathroom. 

"Ben?! What's wrong mate?!" It sounded like James voice. My vision was blurred from tears but I could see it was him. He walked over to the taps turning them off. I looked to see him grab a towel from the cupboard and wrap it around my shoulders. 

 We both sat in silence for about five minutes. "Danny's left" I finally spoke breaking the silence.James didn't respond he just kept silent waiting for me to say something else. "The one person I thought I could trust and rely on has left me"."It's going to be ok" he finally said"Will it though?" I spoke looking up at him."Of course it will! What Danny did was unfair he abandoned us because thinks the band is too heavy and he wants to do rock, we can finally go back to the sound we started with don't think of it as the end just think of it as the end of one chapter and space for a new one" .I bit my lip before nodding my head in response "yeah...yeah you're right...fuck Danny!" I said climbing out of the bath. "I can move on without him" I continued."That's more like it! First we need to tell Cam and Sam the news and then we find a replacement"

 Once we told Cam and Sam the news we all sat in my apartment talking about suggestions for Danny's replacement.We all dissed ideas but the same person kept popping into my mind. "What's about that Denis guy from Down N Dirty?" I suggested.They all turned to look at me in agreement. "When Danny refused to do Warped Tour we were talking about having him fill in anyway" continued Sam.We decided to look him up on the Internet and the first thing that came up was a video of him singing 'Killing You'. "Wow" said James"Wow indeed this guy is amazing!" Responded Cam."We need to get hold of this guy" I suggested.I began to think about it maybe we were going to be alright.
