Ben POV

"You're awfully quiet Denis" I said to him breaking the silence as I drove down the road getting closer to the house.
"Just taking in the beautiful scenery" he muttered as he continued looking out the window.

I knew the dream he had was still worrying him, he told me if full detail what happened so it doesn't surprise me that he's like this, it would fucking terrify me too.

I haven't been to this house in so long. I used to go all the time when I was having my problems kind of like my little safe house. I would spend days there just sitting by the lake listening to the birds and the water flowing, it was relaxing and calming for me.

I always thought about bringing Danny up with me to the house when I was "dating" him but it never felt right so I never brought him up here, maybe it's because he was so secretive about us that I didn't feel comfortable about bringing him up here.

But with Denis it's different he's comfortable around me and I'm comfortable around him, we're open about our relationship and I'm happy.

As we drove up to the cabin I looked around at the scenery. It was fucking breathtaking just like how I remembered. "We're here" I spoke softly turning to look at Denis who was busy looking through the window taking it all in.

"Wow Ben it's fucking beautiful" he muttered.
"I used to come here all the time alone....when I was having my problems....it was a place where I could have time to myself and think...the place would always calm me down" I confessed to him.
"Are you sure you want me to be here? It's just this is you're place and I don't wanna feel like I'm disrupting the place" he asked with his soft brown eyes looking up at me.

"Of course I want you here! Consider yourself special you're the only person to step foot in the place apart from my family" I smiled.
"Come on" I said as we got out the car walking over to the boot.

Quickly I opened the boot and Denis grabbed his stuff and I grabbed mine. I shut the boot before walking over to the door with Denis following behind.

"Shit" I muttered to myself
"What?" Asked Denis confused
"I've forgot the keys" I said feeling around my pockets for the keys.
Denis' eyes widened with annoyance "are you fucking kidding me?" He muttered to himself.
"I'm not joking" I said to him.
Denis groaned placing his hands over his face "so we have to drive all the way back?"

"Aaaah only kidding!" I chuckled swirling the keys around my finger.
"You're a fucking asshole do you know that?" Chuckled Denis as I unlocked the door.

*time lapse*

It was now dark outside and Denis decided he wanted to cook something. And was I going to help? Fuck that!

I held a glass of wine in my hand watching Denis chopping up vegetables in the kitchen. "You going to help?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"Nope" I said exadurating the p that it kind of made a pop sound.
Denis rolled his eyes as he continued to place the vegetables into the pot for his soup.

He turned on the heat on the cooker before walking now into the living room, throwing himself onto the couch sitting next to me.
I chuckled before wrapping my arms around him with the blanket.
"This is nice" he muttered smiling up at me.
I smiled back quickly kissing him on the lips.

"It's quiet and just us made a change to the fucking noise of everyone else" chuckled Denis.
"Same it's a nice change" I muttered before kissing the top of his head.

Ten minutes had gone back before I realised something "Denis?"
"Yeah?"
"How long has the soup been on the cooker for?" I asked curiously.
His eyes widened before he sprinted into the kitchen "shit!"

I chuckled watching him run into the kitchen taking the pot off the hob.

I decided to get up and follow him into the kitchen. I walled behind him, wrapping my arms around him before kissing his cheek. "It's fine but any longer and it would have burnt" he said stirring the soup.

"Don't worry about it" I said as Denis began dishing the soup into the bowls.
"So what do you wanna do tonight?" Asked Denis raising.
"You" I responded.
Denis laughed shaking his head "I should have expected that" he said.

"Yeah you should have....but I'm serious" I responded.
Denis bit his lip "but think about it where alone in this house and no ones around and we have all weekend....we can go as long as we want and we can be as loud as we want" I whispered into his ear.

"We'll see" he smirked
