Chapter Seven

Denis POV 

 Ben decided to head to bed. I decided to stay up for a bit longer because I didn't really feel tired. It was probably because I'm not used to sleeping around people I haven't known for a very long time.I decided to turn the TV on and flick through the channels on a very low volume since everyone was asleep. 

I came across Kerrang TV and decided to watch whatever music videos came up. Some were good and some were not so good.As about ten minutes went by I became hungry. I'm sure Ben wouldn't mind if I looked through his fridge would he? Getting up I walked over to the kitchen of his apartment. I saw a lot of food but non of it amused me to I decided to open the freezer and the first thing I saw was ice cream. I opened the lid to see a bit had been eaten so I decided to grab a spoon and scoop some into a bowl before putting it back into the freezer. 

 As I sat back on the couch eating the ice cream I heard a noise. I kept silent but I heard nothing. As I went to eat another scoop of ice cream I heard it again. It kind of sounded like a whimper or a cry. I looked at Cam, Sam and James who were still asleep on the couches so it wasn't coming from them. And that's when I heard it again.It must have been coming from Ben's room. Slowly getting up as silent as I could I opened the door to Ben's room. He was tossing and turning, his breathing sounded sharp and edgy.I was doubting if he was having a nightmare or a wet dream. That's when I noticed Ben clutch onto his pillow and he started to hyperventilate. 

And that's when he started to scream. To be honest it really scared me even though I haven't known him very long I had never seen him this terrified.I started to hear mumbles from everyone else. The screaming became worse I couldn't leave him like this I knew I needed to wake him up. Running over I began to shake him "Ben Ben it's me you need to wake up!" I called.I shook him harder "Ben it's just a bad dream!" I called.

 And that's when his eyes opened wide. He breathed harder and looked up at me. I have him a soft smile "it's just a dream" I spoke. Ben sat up running his fingers through his hair."I-I'm sorry for waking you up" he said breaking the silence."I wasn't asleep anyway and besides if I was it doesn't matter I couldn't leave you like that" I responded.Ben nodded his head before he continued to breathe in and out. "Do you want to talk about it?" I asked.Ben shook his head "no I um I had a lot going on before Danny left and it's been a while since I've dreamed about my problems....I- I rather not go into detail" he responded.I nodded my head "that's fine...you ok now?" I asked before I went to walk out the room. As I went to walk away Ben grabbed my arm.I turned around to see him looking up at me "I-I know we haven't known each other for very long but....will you stay?...please?" He asked. I nodded my head "sure" I responded and climbed into bed next to him.We both lay next to each other and I looked into his eyes. It was strange I felt hypnotised as if I couldn't move even if I wanted to it was strange. I jumped slightly as Ben reached his arm over and pulled me close to him. I'm guessing Ben is a cuddle person then.I felt my eyelids become heavy as I felt more warm and relax and fell asleep in his arms.
