Abhimaan - Whispers of Love

Chapter 21

Abhimaan come downstairs for breakfast. Whole family is already present there. As soon as they come down Abhira and Ruhi have an eye contact but they didnt know what to say to other. The awkwardness in the air was noticed by Rohit and Armaan so they tried to  lighten up the environment.

'Are bhai bhabhi aap khade kyu hain. Aaiye na jaldi se breakfast kar lijiye. Waise bhabhiisa aapko yaad hain na aaj main bhi office join kar raha hu. To practically it is my first day at office' said Rohit going towards Abhira and making her sit beside himself while Ruhi was sitting at his left.

'Are obviously main apne pyare devar ka joining date kaise bhul sakti hu. I remember it very well. Chalo jaldi se nashta kar lete hain fir sab sath mein niklenge office ke liye' said Abhira while Armaan served breakfast for both of them and they started eating.

Abhira and Ruhi wanted to talk to each other and get clearity in their relationship but they both decided to do that in night as everyone was getting late for work and they left for work.

The whole day was very hectic and passed in a blink as they came to office after 2 days due to that incident.

AT NIGHT

'Khadoosmaan chalo maine aur Rohit ne apna kaam wrap up kar liya hain tum bhi jaldi se apna kaam khatam karlo fir ghar ke liye nikalte hain' said Abhira entering in Armaan's cabin who was still busy in work.

'Betu mujhe aaj time lagega kaam khatam karne mein aur ek client ke sath meeting thi na kal wo aaj reshedule ho gayi hain. It will take atleast two hours. Tum Rohit ke sath nikal jao. I will come later' said Armaan looking up from his case file.

'Ek kaam karte hain Rohit ko ghar jane dete hain aur main ruk jati hu tumhare sath . We will go home together' said Abhira moving towards Armaan while he stood up from his chair.

'Jaan it will take me atleast 2 to 3 hours to wrap up my work aur tum aaj bahut thak bhi gayi ho please go with Rohit to home. Main pakka aa jaunga thodi der mein. Nahi to tumhari tabiyat kharab ho jaegi' said Armaan taking her in a warm hug.

'Aur tumhari tabiyat kharab ho jaegi uska kya. Pure din se dekh rahi hu you are working tirelessly aur agar main nhi dekhti na to tum lunch bhi skip kar dete. You are very careless about your health. To its decided main yaha rukungi aur hum sath mein ghar jaenge' said Abhira stubbornly tightening the hug as she had seen him earlier rubbing his forehead which indicated he was having a headache.

'Betu I will take care of myself pakka. Please tum ghar jao waise bhi tumhe Ruhi se baat karni thi na. Late jaogi to you will lose the chance' said Armaan inhaling the smell of her hairs.

Abhira thought for a while then went towards the coffee machine and made a strong coffee exactly according to Armaan's prefrence while Armaan stood there in confusion. Abhira forwarded the coffee towards Armaan and said 'Mujhe kehte ho main apni health ke liye careless hu aur khud ki harkate dekhi hain kabhi. Jab headache ho raha hain to batana chahiye na.'

Armaan took the coffee from Abhira's hands and kept it on tabletop ' Are bilkul thoda sa sir dard tha isiliye nahi bataya nhi to tum chinta karti jaise abhi kar rahi ho. Par ab tumhare hath ki coffee mil gayi na ab thoda sa sir dard bhi bhag jaega' said Armaan and just then the door of his cabin opened and Rohit entered.

'Chaliye bhai bhabhi nikalte hain jaldi se' said Rohit just in his normal enthusiastic tone.

'Nhi Rohit main abhi ghar nahi aa raha . Take Abhira with you I will come in some time thoda kaam hain mujhe' said Armaan.

'Thik hain fir Bhabhi aap aa jaiye neeche main jake gadi nikalta hu' said Rohit and left after bodding bye to Armaan.

'Tum na itne ziddi ho isiliye ja rahi hu par ye coffee khatam kar dena aur jaldi se ghar aa jana aur ha dont overstrain' said Abhira.
