What I've been looking for

4 years later

Jamie is 13 now my sister is a little older she's starting high school she's 14. Jack and I have been together for y years now. We celebrate our anniversary on my birthday which makes sense. The first day we came in contact physical contact.

The first day in over 300 years because we didn't even know each other that long or remember but now thanks to these rings it has given us a look into our past lives. Lives that we didn't know we had previous to our own that we live now.

And even after because we wouldn't touch because we were too afraid we didn't have contact till then either. I had told him that we didn't need to celebrate on my birthday but he insisted so that he could shower me with love and gifts.

I want nothing more than to be married to him. There's no danger right not but we want to take it slow. There is always fear and for 300 years Pitch wasn't around but we hear from his kids every day. And we all hang out together.

It's weird knowing my sister will be my age in two years it would be weirder if she got to be older than me since I'm the older sister. Then again stranger things have happened. I played this game once where these sisters were as close as could be.

But the the younger sister had magic powers and a spell went wrong and it hurt the other sister they were only children the older sister was in a coma stuck as a little girl for the next 30 years floating around a tower collecting souls turning those souls into other floors of the tower.

While the other sister wanted to break down the tower and open a portal to the dead. Trying to use her magic to help save her sister and bring her back out of her coma. It ends in two different ways. Either the girl wakes up and the younger sister sacrifices herself and reseals the gate of the dead because they need souls to keep it sealed.

Or the other sister just flatlines and dies and so she dies again after 30 years of being in a coma and the tower is destroyed either way and the other sister uses her magic like to become a hairstylist or whatever. So stranger things happen every day.

People still talk about that day 4 years ago the day I became immortal. That everyone saw Jack and the guardians since they took that people potion. But not everyone was there those that weren't that still are unsure that they believe the stories think it was all just magic a trick of the eye an illusion.

But seeing is believing. But sometimes it's not always enough. Though it doesn't make sense because he knew Jamie believed in just from seeing and hearing him and was taken back when he hugged him glad he didn't go through him. That day 4 years ago.

IDK what I'm supposed to be doing with my life. These kids don't need a babysitter anymore. And they're old enough we can actually just hang out. What's 3 years in the grand scheme of things? I have friends now not just children I babysit.

And it's not the strangest thing that's happened because of it. Jack keeps his promise things would not be good for him if he didn't. Being jumpy at the contact he oh so craved. Oh the guardians would really take advantage of that.

He's thankful Onyx and his sisters haven't shown nor told them about this but we try not to do or say anything that would give Pitch ammo should he find a way to get rid of Jack or take his revenge on him. He'd be his prisoner forever. And forever is a long time.

Sandy would have no leverage to use it and neither did Tooth Sandy gets the least out of the this while you would think Bunny and North Bunny could get him back for all he's done to him North could make him behave but Tooth could make him smile all day long.

She'd never get tired of seeing his pearly white smile and his infectious angelic laughter. It melts my heart every time I hear it makes giggles of my own bubble out just from seeing his big smile. We do all the couples typical things as much as we can.

It's hard for those that don't see him. But we're in our own little world anyways. And we couldn't be happier. For now though Jack flew me over to the Tooth Palace. Baby Tooth was expecting us he wanted to see his memories again and I guess it wouldn't be such a bad thing to see my own.

But while she was waiting for us a girl with shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes and old fashioned clothing was there trying to get their attention had to speak to the head tooth fairy that it was important. When she talked to her Tooth was worried at first.

The little girl that looked familiar to Baby Tooth by facial structure and set up alone made her think of someone she knew. Are you sure she'd asked the girl once she was talking to the head tooth fairy. She knew some memories could be sad. Especially the last ones.

That's about the time we arrived. We didn't see anyone but we heard Tooth speak with someone and we knew right away who she was talking to. We heard the little girl say the moon said it was important that she had to remember. Jack is that? I question.

Yeah that's her that's Mary that's my sister. Jack said. What is she doing here? How is she here? Tooth was surprised to see us once we saw his sister go into her memories. Jack Farrah what are you doing here? Not that I'm not happy to see either of you.

But that's the spring spirit won't you freeze her? Aren't you upset with her for melting your work? First of all I have better control over my powers since then and I'm not gonna hurt her at first I was annoyed because she was melting my work but she comes after me it's her job.

But that was before I knew who she was. How long will she be like that in that state? He asked Tooth. Well you froze Bunny. I did that on purpose with my friends at my side whether helping out of trouble or making sure I don't get into trouble or helping me be in trouble.

My girlfriend and my best friend they keep me on my toes. There have certainly been drastic measures taken and consequences. But if I didn't do these things I wouldn't be me. She gave a gentle chuckle at him as she brushed his hair to the side. You two are cute together and you look so happy.

A genuine kind of happy. What do you mean? Um actually different question we can come back to that maybe he shoved his hands into his pockets. But that girl over there she's my sister. My human sister how is she here why is she here?

That makes sense she looks just like you. But you asked me how long she'd be in that state? Well not long she didn't live very long. We were surprised at hearing this considering he died to protect her. She was surprised to hear this as well. None of them had been chosen after death to be a guardian.

He talked about how he died. How he drowned trying to save her. Farrah tried to help me but the water was too cold and I pulled her down with me. We died together holding hands. But I became Jack Frost and she became Pippa's sister thanks to Manny.

Soon enough Mary came out of it. She was excited to remember she had a brother and that he had saved her but her words and her excitement got cut off to shock that said brother was right in arms grasps once again. But now we had to know how this happened.
