Ezra

I was breathing heavily by the time I arrived at school. I realised that I was late all because of her. If it wasn't for her running me over with her damn car, I would've been on time.

I run into the school entrance and  my lungs are burning from all the running. I finally came to my classroom and waited a few seconds to catch my breath before I knocked on the door softly. After a few seconds Mr. Jones opens the door and when he sees me he let out a tired sigh.

"Just take a seat Ms. Watson." He grumbled and I gave him an awkward smile and made a beeline to my seat that's next to my best friend Leah. When I looked at Leah she gave me an amusing smile.

Once I took my seat I let out a breath and she nudged me in the shoulder.

"Why were you late?" She whispered as her big baby blue eyes stare at me.

"I'll tell you later." She nods and gave her attention back to the front of the class.

The whole class I zoned out and didn't pay any attention to the teacher that's talking.

After the bell rings I grabbed my books and packed them away and grabbed my backpack.

Once we were in the hall Leah asked me again why I was late.

"That bitch run me over with her car." Her eyes widen and she immediately knew who I was talking about and her eyes immediately search for any bruises.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" She asked worriedly as her eyes searched my body for any bruises.

"No luckily it was a light bump, but still she could've killed me." I said angrily and she let out a sigh.

"I don't know when she's going to leave you alone, I mean it's getting a bit too much." She said as we walked down the hall to our next class.

"I know right, as if she's obsessed with me." I rolled my eyes just thinking about the green eyed goddess.

Leah and I met in kindergarten. I was the awkward kid who didn't talk to anyone but one day Leah asked me if we could be friends and ever since then we've been attached to the hip. She knows about my condition and she accepted it and wasn't even disgusted.

"Did you hear that Nick asked Bella to be his girlfriend this weekend?" Leah suddenly asked me and I frowned.

"No, I haven't." I mumble.

Nick Davis was the popular jock of Crawford High and Bella was a cheerleader so I'm not surprised that their even in a relationship to be honest. Everyone knows at Crawford High that Valencia and Bella are the most popular girls at this school and their total bitches.

Valencia was the worst out of the two of them, I can remember that last year a nerdy boy just looked at Valencia and she threw her whole strawberry milkshake out on his head.

The poor boy changed to another school the next day. But that bitch has it out for me since I started going here.

She would look at me like I'm the most pathetic, worthless, disgusting person in the whole world.

At first it hurt but then that hurt turned to hate. I did nothing to that bitch, I didn't even know her when I started here. She's not really mean to anyone but I was the unluckiest victim and I hate it.

My blood starts to boil just thinking about her. I shook my head to get her out of my thoughts and continue to walk to class.

Once I arrived home I let a sigh of relief when I didn't see my father's truck in the driveway.

I unlocked the front door and closed it behind me. Once I made it inside I made a beeline to my room and locked my door. I just don't have the energy tonight for any beating.

My abdomen still hurts and the purple and blue colours on my stomach became darker and I grimaced at the sight.

When my stomach started to growl I let out a sigh. I unlocked my bedroom door slowly and listened carefully for any sounds. When I didn't hear anything I went to the kitchen and made myself some food and quickly ate it and washed the dishes, because I know if I don't my father will explode. After I was done I was about to head upstairs again but saw a letter on the small counter in the kitchen.

I frowned and picked it up.

Eviction Notice!

I let out sigh. Great now I'll have to find another job to pay for the rent or else we'll end up on the streets.

I left the letter where I found it and went back to my room and locked my door again.

I plopped down on my bed and let out a tired sigh.
