"So what do you have in mind?" I asked Leah as she was busy driving us to her house. I told Valencia that I was driving with Leah today and luckily she didn't have a problem with it or question it.
"You'll see." She shrugged with a smirk. I sigh and shook my head and looked out of the window, seeing that we're almost at her house.
She parked her car into the driveway and shut the car off.
"Let's go." I chuckled at her eagerness and followed after her. I can't even count how many times I have been here at her house.
Whenever I came to Leah's house it feels like home. Her mom and dad are always there for me since I was little, hell Leah's dad has been more to a father to me than my own father. Leah's parents treats me like I'm one of their own and it warms my heart just thinking about it.
Leah's older brother, Austin, who's twenty one and is currently in University has always been there for me like an older brother. I see Leah and Austin as my siblings by now, we're so close.
When it's Christmas I'm always with them. We would fly to Spain every Christmas where her grandparents live and I'll always join them. Leah's grandparents feels like my grandparents because they treat me like I'm one of their grandchildren. My heart aches just thinking about my own grandparents that I never got to meet or get to know since they passed away when I was still very young.
But the Crawford family made sure that they treated me like I'm one of their own.
I even have my own room for whenever I sleepover. They even let me decorate it to my style.
Whenever me, Leah and Austin would go to the mall people would always ask us if we're siblings and Leah's and Austin's reply would always be 'Yes.'
Like the trio we are whenever we're together.
"Are you hungry?" Leah asked me as we walked into the kitchen.
"Nah, I'm good thanks, but water would be great." She gave me a smile.
"You know where everything is Ez, make yourself home, and help yourself." She waved me off and I grin.
I got myself a glass and poured myself some water.
"You want anything?" I asked her as I take a sip of my water. She nods as she typed on her phone.
"Yes, please." I grabbed another glass and poured her some water.
"Here ya go!" I handed her the glass and she thanked me.
"Now let's get that outfit ready for you." She grinned and grabbed her glass of water and headed to the stairs.
I chuckled and followed after her to her room. I put my glass down on her desk and slid my backpack off my back and carelessly threw it on the ground.
"So what do you have in mind?" I asked as I watched her put her phone on charge at her nightstand table.
"Okay so she said something casual right?" She asked and I nod. She motioned for me to follow her and I got confused when we entered Austin's bedroom.
"Uh, Lay, what are we doing in Austin's room?" I asked her confused and she just walked to his walk in closet.
"So don't be mad but...I told Austin about the double date and he said you can knock yourself out with his clothes that doesn't fit him anymore." She gave me a sheepish smile. I couldn't help but chuckle.
Of course he did.
"Okay cool, where do we start?" I asked and she looked shocked.
"Wait you're not mad that I told him?" I shook my head with a smile.
"No, of course not Lay, why would I be mad." She shrugged.
"I don't know." I gave her a tight hug and a big kiss on the forehead.
"Stop overthinking and help me!" I shook her shoulders violently and she laughed and pushed my hands away from her shoulders.
We walked into the closet and I watch as Leah scanned through the clothes that I assume is too small for Austin.
After a few good minutes she has a bunch of clothes in her hands and she stuffed it into my arms.
"You know where you're room is, go change." I playfully saluted at her making her laugh.
I went to my room in their house and closed the door softly behind me and walked over to my bed and dropped the clothes onto the king size bed.
I quickly stripped out of my clothes and dressed into the ones Leah picked out for me.
I dressed into some blue baggy jeans with a white t-shirt and a light baby blue LA bomber jacket. I walked to the body mirror in my room and looked at myself.
Not bad.
I look good, I look casual and a little bit dressed for a date.
I heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" I yelled.
"You look good, damn." Leah checked me out from head to toe with a satisfied smile on her face.
"You think so?" I asked her nervously since this is my first time to actually have something nice on my body.
She gave me a soft smile and nods.
"Of course, Ez, you look handsomely beautiful." She said softly and I grin.
"Thank you for this." I motioned to the clothes and she waved me off.
"It's nothing, and you can keep the clothes by the way." I chuckled and gave her a hug.
"Thank you." I whispered softly into her ear and I felt her nod softly against my chest.
"Always." She kissed my cheek and let out a sigh.
"Now let's go do our homework." I groan as she walked out of the room.
I forgot about that.
