Ezra

"Baby, calm down, they'll love you." Val grin as we were cuddled up on her couch in the living room.

My anxiety is through the roof so anxious am I. I've never had a girlfriend before what to say to meet the parents.

"It's easy for you to say, you're not the one meeting them." I grumbled against her chest and she chuckled.

"I promise you, everything is going to be okay." She kissed the top of my head and rubbed my back soothingly.

"How late are they coming again?" I asked her as I looked up at her. She smiled softly at me as she run her hands through my hair.

"Probably at any moment." She grinned and my face dropped.

"Sweetheart, it's going to be okay, you are stressing yourself out for nothing, you'll see." She sighed softly as she peppered kisses around my face making me giggle.

"You're so cute." She pout and squeezed my cheeks. I smile shyly at her with a little blush.

"Darling, we're home!" I heard a deep masculine voice call out.

My heart dropped to my stomach once I realised her parents had arrived.

"Come on, baby." Val grabbed my wrist and pulled me up from the couch to the kitchen where her parents were.

My heart started beating faster in my chest as we got closer to the kitchen.

"Hi mom, hi dad." Val greeted her parents with a hug and kiss on the cheek. Once the greeted her both her parents eyes landed on me and all I want to do is run away from here far away.

Her mom was a gorgeous woman, she has long brown hair, with light brown eyes, tall. Her dad was intimidating tall, with black hair, green eyes and well built.

"Darling, who's this?" Her mother asked with a smile.

"Mom, dad, this is my girlfriend, Ezra." Val introduced me and both her parents grinned.

Her mother walked over to me and gave me a hug. "It's nice to finally meet you darling, my daughter talks about you all the time." I blush shyly with a smile on my face.

"It's nice to meet you Mrs. Ramano." I smiled and she squeezed my hand.

"Call me Isabelle, darling."

Her father walked over to me with a blank expression. "Hi sir, it's nice to meet you." I said politely and hold my hand out for him to shake. He kept staring at me making me quite uncomfortable.

Suddenly he a huge smile forms on his face, he slapped my hand away and gave me a bone crushing hug, lifting my body from the ground making my eyes widen. Damn he's strong.

"Finally I get to meet the girl that makes my little princess happy." Val face turned red in embarrassment.

"Dad!" She whined throwing him a glare. He waved her off and put his hands on my shoulders.

"Are you staying for dinner?" He asked me excitedly making me laugh.

"Yes, sir." He tsk and shook his head.

"Call me Damon kid." He ruffled my hair and walked over to his wife.

"I actually want to talk to guys about something." Val said seriously to her parents.

Her parents frowned but nod nonetheless.

"I want to know if it's okay with you guys if Ezra can stay for the rest of year?" Her parents smile softly at us.

"Of course darling, Ezra's welcome to stay here for the rest of her life." Her mother said and my eyes widen.

Val wasn't lying when she said her parents would love me.

"Thank you so much." I thanked them and they smiled.

"Just keep our daughter happy and all will be fine." Her father said with a grin and I chuckled.

"Of course, si- Damon." He nods and claps his hands.

"What do you guys want for dinner tonight." He asked and Val smirked.

"Pizza." Her dad groaned. "Fine but only this once." He pouted and pulled his phone out to order the food. His wife shook her head with a smile at her husband's childishness.

I guess her dad is not a fan of fast food.

"Okay guys, me and Ezra will be in our room." Val intertwined our hands and walked us back to her room.

"See, wasn't so bad as you think it was going to be." She smirked at me. I rolled my eyes playfully at her with a smile on my face.

"Yeah, yeah, it wasn't so bad." I grumbled and she giggled.

"Now let's watch a movie while we wait for the food." I grinned and agreed.

Her parents were actually the most friendliest people I've ever met.
