After Bella and Nick stopped their bickering we called the waiter over to order our food. The waiter came back with four menus and handed them out to us.

I grabbed the menu from him and thanked him. I opened the menu and my eyes almost popped out of my skull when I saw the prices for the food.

200$ just for steak and mashed potatoes?!

356$ just for a platter of sushi?!

I snapped my head over to Valencia and watch as she flipped through the menu with no problem.

This is ridiculous!

Bella and Nick also didn't seem to mind the pricey food and I sat there flabbergasted.

How fucking rich are they?!

I tapped Valencia on her shoulder to get her attention, I can't fucking afford this food.

"What's wrong?" She looked over at me waiting for me to answer.

"Not to be rude or anything, but I can't afford this kind of food, it's too expensive!" I whispered to her and she chuckled and patted my thigh softly.

"It's on me, just order what you want and I'll pay." She said simply and I softly shook my head.

"I can't expect that from you—" She cut me off.

"Ezra, just order what you want, it's really not a big deal." She whispered harshly to me making me shut my mouth.

I gave her a stiff nod and muttered a fine. I scan through the menu and look for anything I might like.

Some of this food in here is expensive as fuck. You can get this food for way cheaper at other restaurants and would taste the same.

I almost got an heart attack when I saw how much a bottle of wine cost.

700$ just for a fucking wine bottle.

I shook my head at this. This place is out of my league, I would never be able to afford to pay for this.

Once I decide what I'm going to order I closed the menu and pushed it away from me.

"Did you guys hear about what happened last week Monday?" Bella asked with a snort.

I looked at her confused and shook my head. Valencia just hummed.

"This one girl, Tina was caught in the principal's office fucking the secretary." She said with a shock expression and my eyes widen.

"Wait, are you talking about Tina Daniels?" She nodded her head.

Damn I knew Tina. I was curious about where she was because she just disappeared without a trace. She was once my project partner in English and didn't seem to be the type to fuck the school's secretary.

She looks like this innocent little girl that couldn't hurt a fly, clearly I was wrong.

It's always the innocent ones.

"So what happened to her?" I asked curiously and Bella took a sip of her wine before answering me.

"She was suspended immediately." She shrugged and I nod.

"So how long have you and Nick been together now?" I asked Bella and she gave me a smile.

"It's going for five months now?" I frown at this. Wait didn't she and Nick got together like a week before me and Valencia made the deal.

"Wait I'm confused, I thought you guys were together for three months now, since me and Valencia got together a week after you guys were dating?" Bella cleared her throat and shuffled uncontrollably in her chair.

"The first two months we kept it quiet since we didn't want to let anyone else know yet." She explained and I looked over at Valencia seeing a hurt expression on her face.

She clearly didn't know about this.

She's hurt that her best friend kept it from her and didn't told her anything about her relationship with Nick.

"Cool." I muttered and put my hand on Valencia's thigh, rubbing it softly.

"Well I'm glad that you guys are still going strong." I said with a fake smile looking at Nick.

Everyone knows in school that he's a big player. Before he got into a relationship with Bella, he fucked girls left and right, making them fall in love with him, only for him to throw them aside like their nothing, like their feelings are nothing.

My blood boils just thinking about it. I clench my jaw and kept my mouth before I make a scene.

We kept talking about things here and there while we wait for our food which actually takes long.

"Oh, before I forget, I brought you something Ezra." Bella said with a smile and looked at her confused.

"What?" She hold her hand up as she digs through her Gucci handbag.

"I brought you a box of chocolates, to say thank you." She handed me a box of chocolates and take it hesitantly from her.

"Thank you for what?" I asked confused and she chuckled.

"Thank you for making my best friend happy again, it's been so long since I've seen her so happy with someone." She explained looking warmly at me making me slightly uncomfortable.

Weird.

"Of course, thank you." I thanked her and she nods.

Let's hope that their not poisoned.
