Ezra

I was currently in English class and bored out of my mind. English is one of my favourite subjects but today I'm not so eager to learn anything. I look over at Leah and saw how she was writing the notes down.

I'll just copy them later from her.

When the bell rings I packed up my stuff and stood up from my chair. I walk over to Leah and waited for her slow ass.

"Come on grandma." She slapped my shoulder with a playful glare and I chucked.

"I'm hungry as fuck." She whined and I grin.

"Well luckily it's lunch now." We walked to the cafeteria and took our usual seats. I grabbed my lunch out of my bag and began to eat.

"Where's Valencia?" Leah asked with a frown. I shrugged my shoulders.

"I don't know, she'll probably be here in a few." I responded and just as I said that Valencia walked into the cafeteria with Bella and Nick behind her.

She looks pissed, she has a frown on her face, her face red.

"Hey, baby." She kissed my cheek softly as she took a seat next to me. She wrapped her arms around my waist and buried her head in my neck.

My eyes widen at her behaviour. What the hell is going on with her?

"Are you okay?" I asked her softly and I felt her nod against my neck.

"Just tired." She put her hand under my shirt on my stomach and I wince slightly as her cold hand make contact with my warm skin.

"Sorry." She mumbled softly.

She rubbed my stomach softly as she stayed cuddled into my side, and I let her, at least she's comfortable enough around me.

When I look over at Bella my eyes almost popped out of my skull. On her right cheek is a red hand print and her cheek looks swollen.

That must've been Valencia's doing.

I smirk slightly when I saw it, that's what she gets when she tried to fucking kill me Friday night.

I haven't told Leah about what happened with the strawberry chocolate fiasco since I'm not in the mood for a blood bath right now. Leah would literally drive to her house and kill her, no jokes.

"What happened to your cheek?" Leah asked Bella with a frown. My heart started beating faster in my chest as she asked her that.

This is it, I'm going to have to visit my best friend in prison from now on.

Suddenly Valencia pulled away from my side and let out a menacing laugh.

"Thank you for reminding me Leah." Valencia gave Leah a smile and Leah looked at Valencia confused.

"Bella, I believe you have something to say?" Valencia shoot her a look and I watch as Bella swallowed thickly.

"I'm sorry Ezra, about what happened Friday." She said softly but she didn't make eye contact with me.

"It's fine, as long as you don't do that shit again." I said half annoyed.

Leah gave me a look and I smile nervously at her.

"What did she do, Ezra?" She asked me, her tone turning deadly.

"Nothing, it's all—" I was cut off by Valencia.

"She gave her strawberry chocolate's." My eyes widen when Valencia said that to Leah. Leah's eyes darken at that. Leah slowly turned her head to Bella.

"I'm going to fucking kill you!" She said menacingly and my eyes widen when Leah was about to jump her.

I wrapped my arms around her waist and hold her back from Bella.

"Let me go Ezra, I'm going to fucking kill her." She tried to wiggle herself out of my hold but I'm stronger than her.

Thank fuck for that.

"Calm down, Lay, I'm fine, I'm still here." I said softly and hug her tightly against me.

She slumped against my chest as she wrapped her arms around me and let out a sob.

"Why would she do that, you could've died, I can't loose you." She said as she cried in my arms.

"I know, but I'm not going anywhere, okay." I whispered softly in her ear. She nods against my chest and I kissed her forehead.

"Good, now let's get back to eating, I'm starving." We took our seats again.

The whole lunchtime Leah glared at Bella who avoided eye contact with everyone around the table. Good she should be ashamed of herself for what she did. I hope the guilt will eat her up.
