I parked my car in front of Ezra's house and waited for her to come out. I scrolled through my phone while I wait. After a few seconds Ezra came out of the house but I can tell immediately something is awfully wrong.

Her right hand is on her abdomen, her backpack is in her other hand almost dragging it behind her. I instantly climbed out of the car and walked towards her and cupped her cheeks into my hands.

"Ezra." I said softly. She gave me a weak smile and dropped her bag on the ground and fell into arms. My eyes widen at her action as I wrapped my hands around her waist. She stiffens completely when I hold her against me but I shrugged it off.

"You okay?" I questioned softly and I felt her nod against my neck. I rubbed her back softly before I unwrapped my arms around her.

"Let's get to school." I grabbed her backpack from the floor and opened the back door and put her bag next to mine.

I climbed into the driver's seat and saw Ezra already strapped in. I shot her a small smile before I drove off.

"So, I want to hear your opinion about this, do you still want to do the movie night with Bella and Nick." I asked her my voice soft and gentle towards her. She doesn't deserve my coldness anymore.

"It's fine as long as Leah can join us." She grin and I let out a small chuckle.

"Of course." I nod in agreement and she smiles happily at my answer.

"So when is it?" I heard her ask.

"Tonight, if it's fine with you." She nods with a smile and I smile back.

"Sure, sounds good, where are we having the movie night." I turned left on the street where the school building came into view.

"At mine, I don't trust Bella anymore, she could have something else planned up her sleeve but I doubt it." I shrugged and she hummed.

I parked the car and unbuckled my seatbelt.

"Let's get this day over with." I said with a smile and climbed out. I grabbed our backpack's from the backseat and locked my car.

I walk around the car and Ezra was about to take her backpack but I shook my head softly.

"I'll carry them today." She looks almost relieved when I said that.

Weird.

And it's a nice and sunny day today, it's quite hot but Ezra wears this long sleeve shirt and jeans, usually she shows up with shorts and a t-shirt.

I shrugged it off and intertwined our hands together and walked into the school building. She walks slow today but I don't question it, I walked her pace.

Once we got to her locker I handed her backpack to her and kissed her forehead softly.

"I'll see you at lunch." She nods softly and waved cutely at me as I walked away.

Adorable.

"So tonight is the movie night at my place, make sure you're there at seven." I said to Bella and Nick coldly who agrees with a nod.

"Leah, are you also coming?" I asked her with a smile. She gave me a smile back and nod.

"I'll be there don't worry." She winked at Ezra and she rolled her eyes at her best friend.

I suddenly feel jealous of their friendship. Ezra is so carefree with Leah and then she's half and half awkward with me.

I shook my thoughts away and continue to eat my lunch as I tuned out whatever Bella is talking about.

Over this couple of months my feelings I had for her died. I don't know if it is because of the way she treated Ezra, but I know my feelings are not the same for her anymore.

I got my eye on someone else now.

"I will pick you up tonight, make sure you pack your night clothes." Her eyes widen as her face flushed red.

"Okay." She squeaked out and I hold back a giggle at her cuteness.

I kissed her cheek and rubbed her thigh softly and she stiffens again. I frown at this, is she uncomfortable with me touching her.

I immediately remove my hand from her thigh and cleared my throat.

That's weird she didn't have a problem before when I touched her.

I felt a warm hand took my hand and she put my hand back on her thigh and gave me a small smile.

I smile back at her and continue to eat my lunch before the bell rings.

Weird.
