"Where's Winter? Have you seen her today?"

"No," Wonyoung answered with a sigh.

That's the third no Karina heard from the same question all week. She thought Winter would come to school but apparently she had been wrong.

The younger one didn't answer her texts or anything.

Just pure silence.

Karina was getting frustrated, slumping back down into her seat with a small groan. She wanted to see winter. She needed to see her.

"Why do you look so upset?" Ryujin asked once their final class bell had rang. There was a small silence. Karina seemed to be dozing off, not hearing a thing Ryujin had said.

"Winter hasn't been at school this whole week, of course her future wife is upset," Giselle pointed to Karina who shot a confused glance at her.

"Future wife..?" Karina repeated softly.. She imagined Winter in a wedding gown, walking down an aisle with all her and Karina's relatives. The image was so beautiful to her. Winter's beautiful brown orbs only looking at Karina as she made her way to her. She hadn't thought about it that much but now that she has it just made her feel.. weird.

"She's not my future wife!" Karina said in denial, her cheeks bright red while she bolted out her seat.

"Calm down, tomato," Giselle laughed, earning a flustered glare from Karina. "Have you tried talking to her?" The Japanese asked. That made Karina sigh, nodding her head in disappointment.

"I texted her but she hasn't responded to any of my messages. Nor my calls."

"That's weird, I was on the phone with her last night?" Ryujin blinked in confusion.

"What?" Karina said softly, the thought of it slightly angered her. 'She can talk to ryujin but not me? Does she not like me anymore?' Karina's eyebrows furrowed, her hands curled up into a small ball.

Though she couldn't even say why she was upset, she hardly knew herself.

"Yeah, she was talking about getting a job at a bakery." Ryujin shrugged like it wasn't a big deal. "But after she let me yap about Yeji," she continued with a foolish smile as her friends just rolled their eyes at the lover girl, swinging her body side to side.

Karina wanted to hear Winter's voice again, see her smile again. See her eyes again. She couldn't wait any longer, she wasn't going to let Winter go and do her thing without seeing her.

"I gotta go." Karina spoke suddenly, grabbing her backpack and rushing out the classroom door, leaving all of her friends in confusion.

There was a knock on Winter's apartment door.

Winter peeked her head out her dark room, looking around her empty apartment. "Is she back already?" Winter muttered to herself, rubbing her sore eyes while she made her way to the front door.

'Would ningning be back this early?'

She thought to herself as she made her way closer to the door. That's when it hit her. No, she wouldn't.

Then who was at her door? It surely wasn't the rent lady because the rent had already been paid. It might've been a sales person. She sighed in agreement, grabbing onto the door knob as she unlocked it.

Opening the door, "Hel-"

She paused. Looking at someone she wasn't supposed to look at. A beautiful girl standing at her doorway, her eyes widening in surprise at the sight of Winter's slightly puffy eyes. In her hand showed potato chips and Winter's favorite jellies.
