"Hey winter, do you like girls?"

The question was sudden, shocking both Karina and winter.

"Hey, you shouldn't randomly ask that-"

"It's fine Karina, I don't mind talking about it."

It has been a month since that night had happened. Karina and Winter got closer and so have the others. But they all never had been interested in talking about their sexualities, none have thought about it as much.

The three of them were sitting on a grassy hill, watching the sunset. Ryujin had to go home early to rest for her tournament. Wonyoung couldn't hang out with the three because she had a family event. That left Karina, Winter and Giselle just to hang out.

They've had a good time together for the day. They went through forests, of course early in the morning. They bought snacks and drinks. Last minute they decided to have a picnic without a blanket.

They didn't really have plans, they just followed wherever their feet took them.

Til sunset they hung out, not spending their time in the insides. The spring air felt just right, looking at the sky fading from its light was certainly a moment they should not miss.

Now the three of them sat on a hill, their snacks in a white plastic bag that was mostly trash.

"Hey winter?" Giselle turned to the girl on her right, winter being in the middle of both Karina and her. The hazel eyes turned slowly away from the sky, wishing the sunset would pause.

"Do you like girls?"

"Hey, you shouldn't randomly ask that-" before Karina could finish Winter covered over her.

"It's fine Karina, I don't mind talking about it."

The older one sighed, glancing at Winter before looking at the sky in front of them. She was nervous all of a sudden. She never actually thought about asking Winter about her sexuality. To be honest, she assumed Winter definitely wasn't straight.

She just didn't look like it.

Giselle's eyes were on Winters. Honestly, just by glancing into the younger's eyes anyone could fall. Her eyes glistened like the stars that twinkled in the appearing dark sky. Even if there was no stars in the sky, Winter would be the only star that shined on earth.

She didn't answer right away , the sunset fading away is what made her lips depart. "I guess I'm bisexual." Karina's ears perked up, looking at Winter in curiosity.

Though, she didn't know why she was curious herself. Should she be relieved? Why should she care about it?

"But I'm more interested in males."

Males? Karina repeated.

Was that a short term for females?

No, they're two completely different words.

"No way, really!?" Giselle gasped with a small smile on her face, slightly pushing Winter by the shoulder.

"Why? Is that surprising?"

"Hella! You totally look like a gay girl!" Giselle joked, winter putting out a shy chuckle.

Should that be right? If they look attracted to the same gender that means they are, right?

But no, Winter is attracted more to boys? What's so special about boys? Is it their masculinity? The way they look with muscles? The short hair that they are naturally born with?

Or maybe because society believes only male and female should be together.

Karina went silent. She couldn't hear the conversation after that.
