Chapter Thirty-One

Nothing changed regarding henry's custody agreement, Lisa was happy to know that. Jennie knew that she couldn't use him just to hurt Lisa, it was not fair to him because he had nothing to do with it. It wasn't his fault that he came to this world, that had been Jennie's and Lisa's decision. So, Jennie knew she couldn't take it out on him for everything that happened in the past between Lisa and her.

But something changed for sure, Jennie was beginning to distance herself from Lisa. Once everything was ok between the two, Jennie began to have a friendship with the tall girl for Henry's sake. Everything was easier that way, no arguing, no having disagreements.

Jennie didn't want Henry to grow up knowing that his parents hated each other and once he was old enough, he had to choose where he wanted to live, or where he wanted to spend the holidays with. Jennie knew what it felt to grow up with only one parent, she didn't want that for him.

Jennie didn't want to make Henry to have to choose between she and Lisa. Jennie wanted him to grow up in a healthy environment and know that both of his mom's actually got along.

But ever since Jennie found out that Lisa was dating someone, she decided to keep her distance. The main reason was because she hated seeing Lisa with someone else, she didn't want to imagine the red-haired girl holding Lisa, kissing her or sleep in the same bed as the tall girl.

But anyone who would see how angry she would get that Lisa had someone else would call her a hypocrite. Jennie had someone else as well, she had someone she could hug, kiss, and sleep together. Jennie had someone she could do all that with for almost a year now. It wasn't fair that she could only be happy or be allowed to date someone else and Lisa couldn't.

Now that Jennie had found out about Sana, Lisa would spend more time with the young doctor. At the beginning Lisa wouldn't spend much time with her when Henry was around, because she didn't want Henry to slip up and talk about Sana, but know that Jennie knew about her, there was no need limit herself.

Lisa wasn't expecting Jennie to find out about her and Sana that way, she was going to tell her, she was just waiting for the perfect opportunity.

Lisa noticed Jennie was distancing herself from her ever since Jennie found out about Sana. But Lisa didn't pay much attention, she was happy spending all her free time with the doctor. Lisa decided to give herself a change to be happy with someone else, she also had the right to have someone else.

Jennie told herself that she should finally get Lisa out of her heart or at least try. She needed to close the chapter with the black-haired girl, no matter what, and even at the stake of her happiness.

Jennie couldn't be happy and move on with Mark, and she knew the reason why, it was Lisa. But why couldn't she be happy if Lisa decided to date someone else? She decided to be happy with someone else, and that person wasn't Jennie. She had to understand that there was nothing left between she and Lisa. They could only have a friendship now, for their son.

Mark finally came back from his trip, the space between him and the brunette girl had been much needed. Being apart from one another helped their relationship and the arguing had stopped. Mark had also stopped pressuring Jennie about having a baby.

Everything between Mark and Jennie was back like in the beginning, there were no problems, no arguments, no fights, everything was fine.

Everything had to be.

Lisa was getting ready for bed, she had her pjs, which consisted of a small set of shorts and a tank top. Once she brushed her teeth and finished her night routine, she got in the covers, next to the red-haired girl.

"You have no idea how glad I am that we finally had a weekend together, the hospital has been hectic." The doctor said as she got closed to the tall girl and hugged her.

"I'm glad we were able to spend a weekend together as well; it had been days since I last saw you. I've missed you."

"I've missed you as well, a lot." Sana said while giving Lisa small kisses on her neck, the tall girl left out a long sigh, enjoying the treatment from the doctor.

"I would say that I missed my little Henry this weekend. But I'm happy we were able to spend it just the two of us" Lisa stated caressing Sana's back.

"I miss his little laugh and his jokes, he's such a sweetheart. Speaking of him, how are things with Jennie? You didn't really tell me much about that.

"Well, at first she was upset because I didn't tell her about is, but things are good now."

Lisa didn't want to lie to Sana, but she of course wasn't going to tell her that Jennie was acting the way she was acting. She wasn't going to tell her that the brunette girl distance herself from her. Why would she tell her? If Lisa told her what had been happening between them or how close they were, Sana would most likely have questions. She would ask why Jennie was acting that way once she found out about her and Lisa.

Lisa believed she knew the reason why Jennie was acting that way, but she didn't want to get her hopes up. She didn't want to believe that Jennie was jealous. Why would she be? She had been dating Mark for almost a year, someone who was jealous wouldn't be dating someone else, especially for that long.

It wasn't fair that Jennie was dating someone else, and Lisa had to wait on the sidelines watching her with Mark and wait until Jennie got tired of him and decided to give Lisa a chance.

Lisa had asked herself what would have happened if things had worked out between her and Jennie when she returned back to the states. If Lisa would've been able to explain things to Jennie that one day she saw her and Rosé together. Lisa would've been able to explain to her that there was absolutely nothing going on between her and the blond girl.

But of course not, anger and fear blinded Jennie that she decided to not listen to Lisa and allow her to explain her side of the story.

Lisa didn't think to have anything with the doctor at first, she met Sana through a mutual friend, and that friend was no one else but Roseanne Park. Lisa and Rosé were still friends, they wouldn't see each other as often and that was because Rosé was busy with her modeling career, traveling all over the world. Rosé took the opportunity to plan a blind date between Sana and Lisa when she stopped by NYC for a brief moment.

That blind date turned out into a few more dates, followed by sleeping together until Lisa decided to have the courage to ask the red-haired girl out and give herself a change to be happy.

"I've been thinking that we should have dinner with Jennie and her significant other, that way we can get to know one another since we're all going to be involved in Henry's life."

"That's not a bad idea." The tall girl said as she continued to caress the doctor's back. "I need to talk to Jennie and plan something."

"Lisa..."

"Hmm..." The red-haired girl started playing with the tall girl's fingers and then she looked at her.

"I just want you and Jennie to know that I'm not trying to replace her, Henry already has two great moms, at least from the brief moment I saw Jennie. I just want you guys to know that I want nothing but the best for him."

"I know that and believe me that I'm more grateful with you and for giving me an opportunity knowing that I have a son. Dating someone with kids it's not easy."

"Of course, I understand that I just want everyone to get along and not cause any inconvenience between you and Jennie."

"Thank you for understanding. I'll talk to Jennie tomorrow so we can set something up." Lisa looked at the time and then she looked at the doctor. "It's late, we should get some sleep, I have an important meeting tomorrow."

"This week I'll be busy once again, so in that case before we go to be, I need something from you." Sana sat up and straddle Lisa's lap and giving her a flirty smile.

"I'll give you whatever you want..." Lisa sat up as well and closed the distance between them with a passionate kiss.
