I swallowed my saliva roughly as P'Nat sat across from us at the table, his arms crossed over his chest, his expression unreadable. I shifted uncomfortably.

I glanced at War, who was sitting beside me. Oh God, how would P'Nat react to finding me asleep at War's house? And to make matters worse, there I was, sitting beside War, wearing matching couple pajamas that screamed 'We are totally together!'

P'Nat cleared his throat. "So, care to explain what's going on here?" He asked, his tone reminiscent of a detective interrogating suspects in a crime drama.

I swallowed nervously, searching for the right words to explain. "Um, well, you see, War and I...we are together," I admitted.

P'Nat raised an eyebrow, his gaze flicking between War and me. "Together, huh?"

War nodded. "Yes, phi. Yin and I are dating," he confirmed.

P'Nat studied me for a moment. "Nong, can you go inside your room for a moment? I need to have a word with Yin in private," he instructed.

"Phi—"

"Go now," P'Nat interjected, cutting off War's protest.

War hesitated for a moment, looking torn between obeying P'Nat's command and staying by my side. I squeezed War's hand reassuringly before he reluctantly retreated to his room, though I couldn't help but notice him peeking back at us from behind the wall. I chuckled softly at his adorable behavior.

Taking a deep breath, P'Nat stared at him. "I can still see your head poking out, nong War," he said, causing War to pout before disappearing behind the door with a soft click.

Once War was out of earshot, P'Nat turned his attention back to me. He heaved a heavy sigh. "Yin, are you serious about my brother?" He asked, his tone tinged with concern.

I met his eyes with unwavering determination. "Of course, phi. I care about War deeply. I know it might seem sudden but I have never been more sure about anything in my life," I explained, hoping to convey the depth of my feelings for War.

P'Nat studied me intently. "War is my little brother and I only want what's best for him," he said and let out a sigh again. "Yin, you are a famous celebrity and you are often paired with Third as an on-screen couple. Have you considered the consequences for War if your relationship suddenly becomes public knowledge?"

"I can handle any impact on my drama's ratings, but War? He's my only brother, Yin and I can't bear the thought of people saying hurtful things about him," P'Nat emphasized.

P'Nat was right. As a famous celebrity, my actions had consequences, not just for myself but for those closest to me, especially War.

"I understand, phi," I replied. "I never meant to cause War any harm. He means everything to me and I would never want to see him hurt because of our relationship. I will do everything in my power to protect him," I assured him sincerely.

P'Nat's expression softened slightly at my words. "I know you care about him, Yin. I mean, I always knew you two had something going on, but matching pajamas? That's a whole new level of commitment."

I could feel my cheeks burning with his sudden words and I caressed my nape. "It's...kinda cute, right?" I said shyly.

He chuckled softly before speaking again. "Just be mindful of the potential consequences. War's happiness is my top priority," he said with a hint of pleading in his voice.

I blinked in surprise, not expecting such a casual response from War's brother. "You...you are okay with this? I mean, about our relationship?" I asked.
