A FEW DAYS LATER

The photoshoot was going smoothly, as usual. I tried to stay focused, posing for the camera but my thoughts kept drifting back to War, who was sitting in the corner, quietly watching me. I could feel his eyes on me the entire time and it made me want to smile. I knew how much he loved to watch me work and his silent support meant everything to me.
I glanced at him between shots, catching a glimpse of that familiar smile on his face. He was so beautiful, so perfect.
But then, I saw something shift. His expression changed and his attention was suddenly locked on his phone. I could sense something was wrong and then, P'Wave came rushing over to me, looking panicked.
"Yin!" P'Wave's voice was urgent as he waved his phone in front of me. "You-you need to see this."
I frowned, pausing mid-pose as I reached for his phone. My stomach tightened when I saw the headline—"Yin Anan Wong and His Secret Lover, a young doctor!"
"What the hell is this?" I muttered, scrolling through the article. It had everything. War's face, his personal details, even speculations about our relationship. My blood ran cold as I realized how much had been leaked.
P'Wave's face was pale. "It's all over social media. Instagram, X, everywhere. Someone leaked War's personal information. It's bad."
Without thinking, I walked over to Jack who stood a few steps from me, my blood boiling. I didn't even care about the cameras or the people around us.
"You fucking bastard!" I shouted, grabbing him by the collar. "You said you would keep War out of this if I turned down that role! You promised!"
P'Jack smiled disappeared the second my fist collided with his face, sending him stumbling backward. The whole studio erupted into chaos but I didn't care. All I could see was red.
"You are a liar!" I shouted, my hands shaking with anger. "War dragged into this mess because of you!"
Jack held his face, looking clueless. "Yin, I swear, I-I don't understand what you are—"
"Bullshit!" I cut him off, ready to punch him again.
But then Third held my wrist. "P'Yinnn, calm down," Third said.
I turned around to see War, sitting in the corner, looking utterly terrified. His eyes were wide and he looked like he was about to break down. I pushed Jack and rushed over to War.
The whispers around the studio grew louder, eyes turning toward us. I could hear fragments of conversations. My name, War's name, everything was spiraling out of control. I didn't care about any of them. All that mattered was getting War out of here.
I held War's wrist. "Let's go," I said.
I helped him to his feet but he barely moved, his face pale and shaken. Ignoring the chaos and the eyes on us, I pulled him by the wrist and led him toward the exit.
As we made our way through the studio, my manager called out but I didn't stop. I didn't even turn around. None of it mattered right now.
Once we reached the parking lot, I turned to War. "Give me your keys," I said, trying to keep my voice steady for his sake.
War's hands were trembling as he reached into his pocket, fumbling with the keys before finally handing them over. I could see the fear in his eyes, the confusion. It broke my heart to see him like this.
I took the keys and quickly unlocked the car, opening the door for him. "Get in, baby," I said.
War climbed into the passenger seat and I rushed around to the driver's side, sliding in and starting the engine in one swift motion. I pulled the seatbelt for War and also to myself. My hands gripped the steering wheel.
