Today was our 10 days in Hong Kong. The cable car soared high above the lush hills of Lantau Island. The view of the Tian Tan Buddha statue slowly came into sight. War's eyes widened as he stared out of the window.

"That's...incredible," War uttered, pressing a hand against the glass, admiring the giant bronze Buddha perched among the mountains.

I shifted closer to him, wrapping my arm around his waist from behind. "It really is. And what better way to spend our tenth day in Hong Kong than seeing this up close, right?"

War nodded, still captivated by the view. I couldn't help but steal a glance at him. His eyes lit up with wonder, his lips parted slightly in amazement. Seeing him so happy made my chest swell with warmth.

When we reached the base of the stairs leading up to the Buddha, War took a deep breath, his eyes trailing up the hundreds of steps. "Are we really going to climb all that?"

I chuckled, tightening my grip around his hand. "Piece of cake, right?"

War laughed but didn't seem convinced. I could sense his hesitation, so I leaned closer, pressing a soft kiss to his temple. "Don't worry, I have got you," I murmured.

With that, we began our climb. Halfway up, War paused to catch his breath, his cheeks slightly flushed. I quickly pulled out a bottle of water from my backpack and handed it to him without saying a word. He smiled, taking a sip and giving my hand a gentle squeeze.

"You are always prepared," he said softly.

I grinned, wiping a bead of sweat from his forehead with my thumb. "I just want to take care of you. Are you okay to keep going, baby?"

He smiled. "Yeah, sure."

When we finally reached the top, War stood in awe of the massive Buddha. He was breathing heavily but his eyes sparkled. "We made it," he said, almost in disbelief.

I moved behind him, wrapping my arms around his waist from behind and resting my chin on his shoulder. "Told you we could do it," I whispered.

War relaxed into my embrace, his hands covering mine as he leaned back against me. "We should take a picture to remember this moment. And maybe send it to your parents."

I smiled. "Sure, baby."

He then took out his phone and adjusted his position slightly, making sure the Buddha and the panoramic view were in the frame. "Say cheese!" He said with a grin.

I leaned in, planting a quick kiss on his cheek just as he snapped the selfie. The photo captured War's bright smile and my affectionate gesture perfectly.

War looked at the photo, chuckling. "Yinnn! Your parents will think you are a pervert!!!"

I laughed. "Oh, come on! It's just a sweet moment."

"Well, they might get the wrong idea with that kiss. You know how they are."

I nudged him playfully. "I'm sure they will understand it's just us being us, baby. Besides, it's a great picture."

War leaned in closer, whispering, "Just wait until they see the other pictures from today."

"Other pictures?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, the ones where you were taking secretly while I was asleep and you kissed my cheek."

My eyes widened. "So, you were just pretending to sleep, so I would take those pictures?"

He grinned. "Well, I knew you will do something cute if you thought I was asleep."

I chuckled. "You really are something else. I was just trying to capture how adorable you are, baby," I said, making him grin.
