TWO MONTHS LATER

───※ 𝙒𝘼𝙍 𝙋𝙊𝙑 ※───

Two months later, everything seemed to settle into a new rhythm. Life felt normal or at least the new normal, given that everyone knew about my relationship with Yin Anan Wong, the most famous celebrity in the country. There was no more hiding when we went out on dates in public. No more wearing disguises. We were open about our love.

Of course, not everything was sunshine and roses. The hate comments were still there, the ones from those who couldn't accept that Yin was dating a "regular" guy like me. Not Third like they wished for. But I had come to terms with it. I was happy and more importantly, Yin was happy. That was all that mattered.

There was this one time when we were hanging out at a cafe and a group of Yin's fans approached us. They were excited, asking for pictures. Yin was always so warm and kind with his fans but he had this way of being protective when it came to me. Knowing how much I disliked being exposed to the public too much, he would gently divert attention, offering to take photos solo with them and gently keeping me out of the frame. He always made sure I felt comfortable, which was something I deeply appreciated.

Even though some offers came my way because of my relationship with Yin, like appearing in a reality show, I politely declined. The entertainment industry wasn't my passion. I respected it but I loved what I did. Being a doctor was my calling and no amount of fame could change that. I thrived in my profession and the joy I found in helping people felt more fulfilling than any spotlight ever could.

As for the legal battle with P'Mai and SkyWings, things were looking good. It was obvious we were going to win the case. After Yin and Third publicly exposed what their old agency had done, how they mistreated their talent and violated contracts, the public had turned on SkyWings. Their reputation was in tatters and they were drowning in hatred from both fans and industry professionals alike. P'Mai tried to play the victim card but it backfired on her.

Third is now an independent actor under P'Wave's management. He and Yin had both found their footing in the industry, free from the toxic grip of their old agency. P'Wave was a manager who cared about their well-being, both as professionals and as people. It showed in the way they were treated.

Life, while busy, felt good.

Today, Yin brought me to view our new house. Yeah, our new house. It still felt surreal, the idea that we were finally going to live together, in our own place. After all the chaos and our addresses being exposed to the public, moving to a new home was the best decision for both of us. Yin was fiercely protective of my privacy and I was grateful for it.

The house was perfect. Three levels, modern yet cozy. As we stood in front of the entrance, I could feel the excitement bubbling inside me. Yin smiled as he unlocked the door, gesturing for me to go in first.

"After you, baby," he said with a smile.

I stepped inside, immediately feeling the warmth of the space. The living room was spacious, with large windows that let in natural light. I could already imagine us lounging on the couch, watching movies or simply relaxing after a long day.

Yin walked up behind me, hugging me. "What do you think?" He asked softly, his chin resting on my shoulder.

I smiled, leaning back into him. "It's perfect. I can't believe we are actually doing this."

He kissed the side of my head. "It's about time. We have been bouncing between both our places for so long."

He was right. For the longest time, we had taken turns staying at each other's homes. Not to mention the growing concern over our privacy, especially after everything that had happened with the public exposure of our addresses. Living together in a new place was the right move and this house was everything we needed.
