What Lies Ahead Part 3, Chapter 7
At General Hospital—Hayden, Carly, Willow, Ava, and AJ were in the hallway when Monica and Portia came by. "I talked to that doctor. He is coming. He recommended bringing any food the children eat the most during the week to get tested," Monica said. "Wait, you think it could be poison in the food?" Hayden asked. "We don't want to rule out anything," Portia said. "Why is it only the children if it's the food?" AJ asked. "Donna eats something different than I do. She loves this applesauce," Carly said. "Avery still likes the same kind of applesauce Donna likes," Ava added. "Willow, Hayden, do your children eat applesauce of the same kind?" Monica asked. "Yes, they had some in the car on the way here," Willow said. "We will go get the package," Hayden said. They left as Anna came by. "Monica, what's going on? Anything I can help with?" Anna asked. "We believe the children were poisoned. We just don't know what kind yet or where it's coming from, or who did it," Monica replied.
Maxie had just gotten off the phone with Willow, who told her about the situation, when Bailey, Georgie, and James came in. "Mom, we don't feel good," Georgie said. "No!" "Yeah, we were having a snack and now our stomachs hurt. Let's go to the hospital," Maxie said.
At the Quartermaine mansion-Brooklyn and Ned were talking. "So, you have been seeing Jr. a lot?" "Yes, I like spending time with him, but I don't want to rush it." "I understand that, but life is short," Ned said. "Yes, it is," Brooklyn replied, just as AJ came in. "AJ, what is it? You look sad," Ned said. "I just got back from the hospital. My grandchildren are sick. All the children are," AJ said. "No! Do you know why?" Ned asked. "No, Robin and everyone at the hospital don't know what it is. They believe it could be poison," AJ responded. "No, we have to see if we can help," Brooklyn said. "How?" Ned asked. "I don't know," Brooklyn replied.
