What Lies Ahead Part 3, Chapter 24
At Lorenzo's house—Lorenzo was at home pouring himself some coffee when Skye came in. "Lorenzo," Skye said as Lorenzo turned around. "Skye, why are you here?" I want to check on the girls. I've been to a lot of funerals these past few days. It's sad, and I realize how important my family is. I don't care that Gabriella is upset with me; I wouldn't give up on her," Skye said. "I agree, family is important. We're just going to have a big one. Why don't you join us?" Lorenzo asked as Gabriella and Lila Rae came into the room. "What's going on?" Lila Rae asked. "I want to spend time with both of you. Gabriella, I know you're upset about the divorce, but you can't push me away. I'm your mother," Skye said. Gabriella saw the way her father was looking at her mother and wanted her parents back together. "You're right, Mother. I just miss us as a family. Now that Daddy is back, I was hoping we could become one." "We are a family still." "Yes, we are. Why don't we go have some lunch? Then you both can spend the day with your mother," Lorenzo said.

At The Quartermaine mansion—Monica was thinking about the past when Tracy came by. "Monica," Tracy said. "What? Are you all right? I saw the way you were looking at Jeff when we were leaving the funeral." "We just have a history, you know that," Monica replied. "Yes, I do. It's a complicated one." "Yes, it is." "Do you ever think about falling in love again?" Tracy asked. "No. In my heart, I'm still Alan's wife." "Alan would want you to be happy." "Maybe. What about you?" Tracy asked. "I want to find someone, but I don't think I can find another one." "Maybe we can. Who knows what the future holds?" "Maybe," Monica replied.

At Kevin's house—Kevin was at home going over work-related paperwork when there was a knock on the door. It was Jeff. "Can I help you?" Kevin asked. "I'm Dr. Jeff Webber. I just want to give my condolences on Laura and Leslie's death." "Thanks. I have heard about you," Kevin said. "I'm sure you have. I don't have a great reputation around this town, especially with my daughter Elizabeth. I have failed all my children." "You can fix it. I'm a psychiatrist. Maybe you and your children can have a session with me." "Maybe that's what we need," Kevin responded.
