What Lies Ahead Part 3, Chapter 43
Steve was getting ready for the day, having coffee when there was a knock at the door. It was Elizabeth.
"Elizabeth, come in," Steve said.
"I just heard some news," Maya told me about you both together, and I'm happy for both of you.
"Thanks, I want to tell you," Steve replied.
It wasn't Maya's fault; she was talking to Skye about it.
"Oh," Elizabeth said. "Does she make you happy?"
"Yes, she does," Steve responded.
"Well, I'm glad I have you too. We're telling the Quartermaines tonight that I'm pregnant."
"Wow," Elizabeth exclaimed. "I know, I'm scared; I'm not that young anymore. It's a risky pregnancy."
"Yes, but we will make sure you get the best care," Steve assured her.
"Thanks!"
"Did you tell the boys yet?" Elizabeth asked.
"No, I'm taking them to lunch; I want to tell them separately. I do hope this one is a little girl."
"A niece would be perfect," Elizabeth said.
At AJ's hotel, Skye and AJ were looking over the hotel's renovation.
"It's beautiful," AJ said.
"Yes, it is. Now I've been thinking maybe we should have a new name for the hotel," Skye suggested.
"What are you thinking?" Skye asked.
At Lorenzo's place, Lorenzo and Ava were having coffee, sitting on the couch together.
"Look, Lorenzo, I'm not looking for a relationship. You're still in love with Skye and probably will always be," Ava said.
"But we could have fun together," Lorenzo replied.
"Really? Are you upset because I killed your brother?" she asked.
"Yes, I am, but we both are working together, so why not have some fun? We could use it," Lorenzo admitted.
"Yes, we could. I'm not looking for anything more," Ava said.
"Me neither, I'm done with love," Lorenzo agreed.
"Same here," Ava responded.
At Gabriella's closet, Gabriella was going through inventory when Charlotte entered.
"Gabriella, you wanted to see me?" Charlotte asked.
"Yes, thank you for coming on your day off. I have a plan to keep our store open," Gabriella explained.
"What is it?" Charlotte inquired.
"We're going to do some columns about fashion in Sasha magazine, and I created an app for fashion."
"This is a great start," Charlotte said.
"Yes, it is. If you have ideas to help," Gabriella offered.
