At the Quartermaine mansion, Gabriella was in her room looking at a picture of her and Lorenzo together. She didn't want to stop seeing her father and got up from bed, grabbed her robe, and went into the hallway. She knocked on Lila Rae's bedroom door. She opened it. "What is it, Gabby?" Lila Rae asked as she came in. "I hate that we can't see Daddy. He's all alone in that big house. It's not right. We are old enough to see our father." "I hate it too, but maybe just give Mother time to calm down," Lila Rae suggested. "Maybe I just hate that he's alone," Gabriella said.
At Lorenzo's house, Lorenzo woke up in bed and looked at Ava, who was sleeping on the other side. He got up, went into the bathroom, looked at himself in the mirror, and saw his wedding ring still on. He took it off and went back to the bedroom to get dressed. He looked at a picture of his family with Skye, Dex, and the girls. "I will get my family back," Lorenzo said as Ava woke up. "Lorenzo, last night was fun," she said. "Yes, it was. Why don't you get dressed, and we can talk over coffee?" "Sure," Ava replied.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Skye was in the den pouring some coffee when Maya entered the room. "Skye, are you alright?" Maya asked. "Yes, it's time for a new start," Skye replied. "Skye, I do hope you find someone," Maya said. "Thanks. What about you?" "Actually, I've been seeing someone. It's been a secret for a while now," Maya responded. "Who?" "He's a doctor at the hospital," Maya explained. "Tell me everything," Skye said. "It's Steve Webber," Maya revealed as Elizabeth came in. "You're seeing my brother?" Elizabeth asked. "Yes, we've been keeping it a secret for a while because of work. I'm sorry," Maya said. "No, I just want my brother happy—that's all he deserves," Elizabeth replied. "Yes, both of you do," Skye said. AJ, Monica, Tracy, and Ned then entered. "Elizabeth, I want to have a family dinner tonight. It's been a while," AJ said. "Yes, it has, and that sounds great," Elizabeth answered. "Yes, how is the hotel renovation going? We need to open it soon," Tracy asked. "It's coming along great. I'm going over there today," AJ said. "The three hotels will be open soon by the riverfront," Ned added. "Skye, we need to talk about your daughter's future," Tracy said as Gabriella and Lila Rae came in. "What else are you going to do to us? You took our father away! I know it was your Grandmother who suggested it to Mother!" Gabriella yelled. "Yes! It's for the best! This family is important to me! You and your sister are the next generation of Quartermaine," Tracy declared.
