Countryhumans Headcanons (and other stuff)

German Empire Headcanons!

1. Human name: Hans Adler/Hans Berlin(?) Still deciding how the last names for dead countries will work

2. He's the first child to Prussia, mother unknown (probably some random human). His twin brother is Reichtangle ((GE is older 

3. GE's human form has shoulder-length or longer black hair, probably longer, and blue/brown eyes???? I'm still deciding lmao but leaning towards blue- He has a kind of big scar near his right eye and more scars on his torso/arms

4. He is 6'5 (195.58 cm), tall asf 😭 I could never

5. He has black wings, inherited from Prussia (I want either GE or AH to have wings, not both- I might just keep it as both of them having wings because I want both of them to have wings or at least some supernatural physical trait but I CANT DECIDE AHHDHWIJSHDH)

6. He keeps his hair in a braid or low ponytail

7. GE dresses the same as all the other dead countries/empires really, like a royal 😭 and he would the same thing as AHE as a casual outfit. In a modern setting, he would dress more business/smart casual, that's the best way to describe it- he usually wears a white button-up shirt, black trousers, and probably a suit jacket or trench coat or maybeee sweater

8. Also very modest, but a little less modest than A-H. He's willing to wear like a T-shirt and shorts if it's really hot out

9. He comes off as quiet, and kind of grumpy but once he's in a setting with people he's familiar with he's a lot more social than people take him for

10. GE is also the type of person to immediately take responsibility for a situation or someone else's actions because he feels obligated to

11. He's a leader, Prussia raised him to be a good soldier and leader, because that's just Prussia stuff. Idk.

12. He's not very good at understanding his own emotions, but is very good at understanding others' emotions, like he'll give people with the same problems as him good advice but doesn't follow the advice himself ((me projecting

13. He thinks more logically than emotionally and is very practical. He one time took apart a clock someone gifted him and used the parts to repair other things bc he said that it would go to waste otherwise

14. Definitely would not be the person to start a conversation, would wait for the other person to say something first. He doesn't like approaching people and probably has social anxiety although he completely denies that anything is wrong

15. GE is also very observant and notices every small thing people do, such as behavioral habits, etc. He used to call people out when he was younger cause he didn't realize how weird people thought he was when he said shit like "why are you tapping your right foot instead of your left foot"

16. He owns a calico cat, named Juno. He asked his granddaughter, East Germs to pick a name and that was what she came up with. He didn't try and argue bc he trusts her 

17. He's a lil dense and oblivious when it comes to love and romance but that's ok. This is an empire thing.

18. He's always had a kind of fascination with the moon and would sit and admire it for hours at night when he was younger

19. Like his dad, GE also loves writing

20. He's a decent cook, he knows pretty much the bare minimum (like how long to boil pasta for so it doesn't overcook, how to make cookies without misreading the instructions and putting in 2 TIMES THE AMOUNT OF SALT). He's trying to learn how to cook better so he can help A-H around the house

21. Prefers cold weather over hot weather. He likes Christmas. This is also kind of a stylistic choice because he thinks he looks better in winter clothes than summer clothes.

22. He owns a lot of historical things from his dad—mostly books, paintings/portraits of his family, weapons and/or armor. He also inherited the Teutonic Knight cloak/robes(?)/uniform his dad owned because Prussia was (technically) apart of the T.O. and served next to his mother. So... yeah. :3 He sometimes likes to wear it around the house, but AHE thinks he's really fucking weird to be wearing a family heirloom as casual wear. 

23. He owns a garden with AHE in their backyard. He tried to plant tulips, but deer ate them ((based off a true story btw

24. Plays cello and piano. He likes cello more, actually, even though Prussia kind of told him that playing cello is girly (Prussia plays the flute.) and that he should have been doing strength-training instead of reading music.

25. Prussia was actually a pretty good father (compared to other dads in that century) to GE + Reich and tried to make time for him whenever he didn't have any other duties to attend to as a country.

26. GE was very close to his brother (Reich!!) during his childhood, and they were basically inseparable. Reich and GE were both born with regular physical features, but Reich is the only one who can change his appearance (rectangle head) at will

27. In his early childhood years, he hated Austria-Hungary since he was taught that the Austrian/Austro-Hungarian family was their enemy. He also thought AHE was really weird because he was blind.

28. GE has always had a hard time concentrating on anything, tbh, and in his childhood, Prussia would have one of their servants literally sit next to him for hours and force him to focus. this was not a good idea on Prussia's part tbh

29. Berlin acted as his second father, he usually took care of GE when Prussia was busy or wasn't able to. Brandenburg as well, btw. Him and Berlin "co-parented" but it was usually just Berlin yelling at Brandenburg that no, children aren't supposed to drink alcohol to get rid of a cough.

30. Compared to the other countries, he had a good childhood ngl

31. He's (fifth?? I think-) cousins with the Russian Empire and Britain/British Empire, based on the fact that Kaiser Wilhelm was cousins with Tsar Nicholas and King George

32. He hates water because it ruins his wings and weighs him down, Reich also hates water because his tentacles don't react well against it, dark magic shit

33. Prefers coffee over tea. He likes the bitterness :3

34. He's is a huge fan of cuddling and hugs in a relationship or just physical touch in general, but he's not a fan of PDA. AHE on the other hand... he can't really say no to A-H so he lets him get away with it

35. He reminds me a little bit of König from CoD 

36. I forgot to mention that he's part French because Prussia formed him with French territory. Prussia taught GE how to speak French to spite France lol the rivalry really bled into their parenting

37. He has reading glasses lmao but doesn't wear them often

38. He gets flustered very, very, VERY easily

39. Also reminds me of Ghost from CoD. I'm sorry.

40. He has a half-tattoo sleeve on his right arm, starting from his wrist/mid-hand and going up to his forearm before fading out. It's just mainly comprised of stuff like feathers, wings, roses, all of these should be kind of self-explanatory as to why he chose them or at least have a good reason--uh, and in the middle, there's just a huge iron cross. Fun.
