Dante leaned on the wall of the Mikaelson home while watching Klaus and Elijah.

"Are you just gonna watch us all day," Klaus said.

"The princess gave direct orders to ensure your safety. I'm required to follow those orders," Dante said.

"Do you always follow orders," Elijah asked, slightly judging him.

"Do you always follow your brother around like a lost puppy in the name of redemption? At least, I don't require a leash everywhere I go," Dante taunted, making Klaus chuckle.

"Neeklaus doesn't have me on a leash," Elijah said, subtly narrowing his eyes.

"Keep telling yourself that, Rover," Dante teased.

Elijah cut his eyes at the demon.

"Why not remove the marks on our arms now," Klaus asked.

"Because that would inevitably release The Hollow before we're prepared," Dante said.

"Aren't you supposed to be a powerful demon," Klaus asked.

"That I am."

"Why not kill her yourself," Klaus asked.

"Because of the destruction it would bring to the surface," Dante said.

"I can't stand being in one place for this long..."

"You're not allowed to leave," Dante said.

"Who's going to stop me," Klaus smirked, heading for the entrance.

Klaus patted the invisible barrier, trapping him inside. He tried to break through it, causing him to be thrown back inside. Dante chuckled at his lame attempt to escape.

"I order you to release me," Klaus said.

"I don't follow your orders," Dante scoffed.

"I will not stand to be a prisoner inside of my own home," Klaus yelled, his accent getting thicker from his rage.

"You will do well to lower your tone with me, child," Dante advised.

"What did you call me?"

Dante ignored him, refusing to feed into his anger.

"Scared of facing against the Immortal Hybrid," Klaus sneered.

"I'd rather not waste my energy on monsters like you," Dante said.

"There is no other monster like me," Klaus said.
