Noah distractedly walked into his home. He had a long day at work, but still wanted to call Stiles. His finger hovered over the call button on his contact number.

"He's upstairs."

Noah turned with a gun raised. He stepped back cautiously as he realized it was Lucifer. The fallen angel stepped forward.

"Stay back," Noah ordered, making him halt.

"Relax, Noah. I have no intention of harming you," Lucifer reassured.

"Why are you here? How did you get in," Noah asked, keeping his gun raised.

"If you shoot, you'll wake Stiles," Lucifer said, "Please drop your weapon."

"Answer my questions first," Noah demanded.

"The dark creates lots of travel entries," Lucifer explained.

"Why are you here?"

Lucifer stepped closer, risking the bullet he may receive. He stopped right in front of the Sheriff.

"I have a message for you," Lucifer said, placing his hand on his head.

Noah sucked in his breath as his soul was sent to the astral plane. He breathed hard while looking around. Lucifer helped him to his feet.

"Where the hell am I," Noah snapped, glaring at him.

"Noah?"

He turned around to face Claudia, his dead wife. She grinned happily as tears formed in her eyes.

"Claudia?"

She hugged him while practically leaping into his arms. Noah kissed her cheek as his tears stained her face in the process.

"I've missed you so much," Noah whispered, caressing her face.

"I miss you too. How's my mischief? Is he doing okay," Claudia asked.

"He's amazing. You would've loved him," Noah smiled.

"I have to tell you something," Claudia said.

"What is it?"

"I knew what Stiles was. I knew he was different since he was a boy. But he is good," Claudia said, "His heart is in the right place. And he is so much like his father."

"I want him to be better," Noah said, scared of Stiles becoming like him.

"Noah, you have always been Stiles's inspiration," Claudia said, "You were his first hero."

"I don't know what I'm doing. Stiles is more powerful than I can handle," Noah said.

"You don't need to handle him. You just need to be his father," Claudia said.

"What if I fail him," Noah asked.

"You cannot fail unless you give up on him," Claudia said, "He may be a child of hell, but that doesn't make him any less of a Stilinski."

Claudia turned to Lucifer.

"Take care of them for me," Claudia said.

"I will," Lucifer agreed.

"Claudia..."

"We will meet again one day. But right now, our son needs his father," Claudia smiled, kissing Noah on the lips sweetly, "I love you."

"I love you too."

Noah gasped as his soul was returned to his body. He doubled over, feeling sick to his stomach from the travel.

"Was that truly her," Noah asked, looking at Lucifer.

"She requested to see you one more time. Noah, I know you don't like me, but I'm grateful to you," Lucifer said.

He knelt down to help him stand up straight.

"Thank you so much for loving him when I couldn't," Lucifer said.

"Why did you choose my son to be your reborn child," Noah asked.

"Noah, I may be powerful, but even have my limits on control," Lucifer reasoned.

"Is she happy," Noah asked, speaking about his wife.

"She's at peace. She watches over you both everyday," Lucifer said, turning to leave, "I'll let you get some rest."

"Hey."

He turned back around to face the Sheriff.

"They were wrong about you. You're not a bad person," Noah said, "I hope you know that."

Lucifer smiled warmly at him.

"That means a lot to me, more than you ever know," Lucifer said, "Goodnight, Sheriff."

"Goodnight, Lucifer."

He walked into the shadow, disappearing from sight.
