Titan was on his balcony when he received the news about Michael returning for Lucifer. He scoffed in irritation. The one person he hated more than his father is Michael.

Titan's eyes returned to watching Damon. His bad mood only increased as he saw him flirting with Elena Gilbert. Why was he even surprised?

He sharply turned with the tip of his wings aimed. Titan narrowed his eyes as Michael stood frozen. The tip grazed against his human disguise, cutting into his skin.

"Holster your weapon, child. I did not come to fight you," Michael said.

"What the hell do you want," Titan asked.

"I'm looking for my brother. He has blocked his location. Have you seen him," Michael asked.

"Why would I know where that bastard is," Titan asked.

"Because you are his firstborn," Michael said.

"Yeah. I also fucking hate him," Titan reasoned.

"Perfect. Then help me track him down. I know how skilled you are in hunting and killing angelic beings," Michael said, smiling at him.

"What's in it for me," Titan asked, testing him.

"Free ticket into heaven," Michael offered, "Only under my watch, of course. You are the devil's son, after all."

Michael is offering a child-soldier of hell into heaven? Holy shit, he was absolutely desperate! Which means, there must be a heavier reason for his urgency.

"I'll pass," Titan said, declining his offer.

"I thought you hated him," Michael asked.

"Oh, I still hate him. But I hate you much more than I ever hated him. Close the door on your way," Titan said, turning his back on him.

"Well, you should know that the vampire you love does not hold the soul of your shining lover," Michael said.

Titan turned back around to face him.

"How do you know that," Titan asked.

"Your knight was a demon, child. Demons do not have a soul, and they do not get a second chance," Michael smirked before leaving.

Titan thought deeply about what he said. Does that mean his lover was truly gone? No, he has to be lying. There's no way he's wasted his time with some random low-life vampire!

"Asshole," Titan grumbled, shooting a coded text to the group chat.

Hope glanced at her cellphone while walking to her car. She froze as she felt a warm presence. It wasn't delightfully warm, it was like being scorched by the sun.

"Hello, princess," Michael greeted, "Care for a chat?"

"I'm busy," Hope said, opening her door.

Michael slammed it shut before she could get in.

"Where's your father," Michael asked.

"Klaus? He's probably off drinking blood..."

"Your angelic father, smartass," Michael snapped.

"An Archangel is cursing at me? Isn't that illegal in heaven somewhere," Hope sassed.

"Look, you little... Hope, where is Lucifer," Michael asked, keeping his cool.

"How should I know," Hope scoffed.

"You're his child," Michael said.

"And you have awful breath. How much manna have you been consuming up there," Hope sassed.

Michael grabbed her neck.

"You blasphemous, fucking bitch..."

"Is there a problem here?"

They turned to Josie standing outside with Stefan, Caroline, Lizzie, and Damon behind her. Michael quickly backed off and put on a smile.

"Not at all. I was just leaving," Michael smiled.

"Leave faster," Lizzie suggested.

"Watch yourself, child," Michael said, his smile dropping.

"Excuse you...?"

"You should go, Michael. Don't want to keep your brother waiting, right," Hope asked.

Michael glared at them before turning back to Hope.

"This isn't over," Michael hissed, walking away.

"Are you alright," Josie asked, checking her neck.

"I'm fine," Hope smiled, grabbing her hands.

"Who the hell was that," Stefan asked.

"An old family enemy," Hope said, "I have to go. This is bad."

"Let me go with you," Josie offered.

"Josie..."

"Hope, I can handle it," Josie said.

Hope glanced at Caroline and Lizzie. They both nodded after some hesitation, giving her permission.

"I'll have to explain on the road," Hope said.

Hope sent a coded message to the chat as well.
