Jakes pov
"Yah! Yah! Thats enough you know that you cant win me in jenga!" I throw a smirk at Sunghoon who just rolls his eyes.
"Fine! But at the party lets see who wins this time , i might say i've gotten better since you left for college , mr.sim" he gives a sly grin making me shake my head and chuckle.
Suddenly i notice that aera has been quite all along."oi! Choi aera why are you-" i turn around only to see no one behind me. I furrow my eyes in confusion "where did this girl without telling me " i mumble as Sunghoon turns around says " where the hell did she go?"
Im about to shout her name when suddenly i hear grunts and a loud thud from the back alley just a minute away from where we are standing.
My eyes widen as I remember about the card "be ready cause you're next...."
Oh lord.....
Aera is in....
Danger......
Not wasting any time, i run towards the alley while Sunghoon yells my name in confusion but still runs after me.
Reaching the entrance , i see the most horrifying scene making my blood boil .
The guy trying to choke aera to death while she's trying her best to defend herself , turning her face she notices me and pleads me with her eyes to help.
Without wasting another second i kick the guy hard as he falls on the concrete ground groaning in pain. He doesnt even has the time to react as i grab him from his collar punching his face multiple times .
The cap falls off and so does his mask , revealing a much familiar face but im not in my senses to know who he is and keep on hitting him till he's unconscious .
But my anger doesnt seem to get any lesser and i keep on punching him.
"YOU MOTHER F****** HOW DARE YOU EVEN THINK TO TOUCH HER! YOU BASTARD!"
"JAKE STOP YOU'LL KILL HIM AT THIS RATE ! " Sunghoon shouts but i dont stop
"SIM JAEYUN PLEASE STOP!" This time aera yells with all her might at me making me come back to reality as i see that i have completely beaten him up to a pulp . But i couldnt care less .
He deserves to die......
", h-help me" are the only words she says and with that she falls unconscious in sunghoons arms who was holding her so that she doesnt fall. He immediately grips her tightly and pats her cheeks trying to wake her up.
"Aera! Yah! Choi aera! Wake up" he yells her name. I immediately take her from his arms picking her up and see that her heads bleeding excessively. Not only that , bruises on her face , neck and probably on her arms as well in attempt of self defense.
Our faces go pale seeing how badly she's beaten up in just a few minutes .
We run towards Sunghoon's cafe to where his car is parked and he immediately starts driving once we sit. I press the wound on aera's head with a handkerchief trying to suppress the bleeding.
"Please aera hang on tight , please...." My eyes become moist seeing her pale face filled with blood and bruises.

"Doctor! Nurse! Anyone !? Theres an emergency! Please help her ! PLEASE!" i yell as soon as we enter and immediately the staff bring in the stretcher, laying her on it and drag her towards the ER.
