19. Reveal yourself

Sunghoons's pov

Im about to pay for the ice cream when suddenly i hear screams and gunshots. Both me and the guy in the truck flinch at the loud shots fired.

The people runs towards the nearest exit and all i can think of is aera.

'Aera's alone'

'Sh*t'

I turn to run towards to the isle aera was standing . I run fast as i can but the people rushing block my way preventing me from running further. Foiled by the crowd i look for another way and see an intersection with a fountain .

I make my way through that route , running as my heart paces faster , my mind filled with negative thoughts of aera getting hurt but most of all her trembling as fear envelops . Scared myself i try to run as fast as i can.

I reach at the isle and instantly start looking for aera , but she's not here.

Maybe she hid somewhere near to protect herself.

"AERA!"

"CHOI AERA"

I scream her name on top of my lungs but i hear no response . 'Where are you aera' all the negative thoughts come rushing back again. Is she hurt? Is she taken away? Is she.... 'No no no park Sunghoon she's fine , she will be fine'.

I look everywhere until the isle ends and i see the fountain again. I brush my hair out of my face , the anxiety increasing every second. I'm about to run back to the entrance but my steps halt when i hear another gunshot and yelling , but what i witness is much more dreadful.

Choi yeonjun ....

I feel my hands trembling and heart sinking. 'Aera.... He's back for aera'.

Without wasting a second i start to run behind the mob. F**king 20 men what the f*** does he want now? after ghosting us for 3 years. Wait , if yeonjun's here does that mean jake is back too?

No now's not the right time to think about anything. I keep following them , until i hear gunshots again but this time 5 men from the mob lay on the floor.

Who the hell shot them?

But then my gaze falls on aera , she's running.... Wait no.... Shes being dragged away by someone. My legs feel like giving up but i dont stop , instead i try to run even more spontaneously the police arrives as , i hear the police sirens from far.

This should've stopped them but they didnt . Taking different turns they keep chasing them and i dont back off.

Once we reach at the myeong-dong street the mob spilts up , either hiding from the police or still in search for them .They lost sight of them but sh*t i dont even know who was the guy dragging aera . Where the f*** did he take her?

I have no choice but to go back to the garden. I need to get my car and search for aera. I stop a taxi passing by " Drive to namsan park and please hurry it's and emergency" the driver nods and we reach the park in about 5 mins.

I rush towards my car after paying , and start the engine driving away. The easiest way to find them are the exits of the famous streets , i cross every shop of the myeong dong street and even show the picture to people if they saw any girl running with a masked guy.

No one saw them which infuriates me to hell. I hit the steering wheel going crazy at this point , i need to go back and tell the others , the police wont do an investigation until 24 hours pass . I need to find her no matter what.
