"Wake up..!!! Wake up!! Sleepy head"

The sound of my alarm can be so loud in the morning. And if I don't get up after three calls , it gets physical.

A large pillow thrown onto my head just as I was thinking.

"Next up, is aqua spray.. if you're still not getting up"

My alarm... it even threatens me sometimes.

I tried opening my eyes with all my strength even though I honestly did not want to. She stays to her words in her threats so I had no other choice.

As I opened my eyes, I saw my best friend Amara standing beside my bed with her arms crossed.

"Oh finally.!!" She exclaimed.

"Come on up Miss Rose..we're going to be late"

"No one's going to be that early Amara, it's just a graduation ceremony.." I said yawning till I teared up.

Amara widened her eyes.

"Duh..! It's only the graduation of the best culinary school in the country..."

"And besides... he's coming today isn't he?" She said giving me a teasing look.

I think I blushed a little being reminded of it.

"Hmmm.... I guess"

"Eeehhhhh...." Amara screeched, hugging me so hard.

"Then I think this is it...Rose"

"What??"

"I think this is the day.." she said again.

I frowned being confused about what she's saying.

"Yeah...I have no idea what you're talking about Amara"

"Oh don't act stupid..."

Amara moved closer to me.

"I think this is the day he's going to do it"

This time I know I definitely blushed.

Noticing my face, she even laughed more teasingly.

"Ha!! I knew you've thought of it...you sly fox"

She then tickled me so we both fell on the bed laughing.

"Hahaha alright alright... stopp"

My belly's already hurting from playing around with her.

"But I'm not getting my hopes up Amara, I mean what if he doesn't?"

Amara twitched a corner of her lips and tapped my forehead.

"Stupid... don't be that silly.. we all know you and Arker are made for each other Rose"

She faced me up front and looked at me straight.

"And we all know he's preparing for his succession at the company... which means......."

Amara winked an eye.

"He's all set to settle down..."

I also smiled thinking about what she said.

"You guys have been dating for years Rose.. and you're practically a married couple.." Amara continued.

"And my sources told me, that his mother gave him a ring..."
