Living forever sounds a bit unthinkable for a mortal.

But for someone like me, it's not even close.

It's indeed far from what I expected and from what I intended to be.

I.....still have a long way to go...to reach my destination.

I knew it would be difficult.

I knew I would face thorny roads but never have I imagined to become....stuck in a state.

I needed to ascend. I needed to evolve into something more.

But how.? Why am I still here?

I've mastered my alchemy of mystic arts.

I've done my practices in fair share.

But something....was holding me down.

A fate? Or is it a feeling? All I know is that I lingered.

And there's a reason why I'm this way.

"You mustn't only look at yourself", my friend said.

He used to be my associate but now he's someone different.

What have I been missing?

I did my searching for many years but turned out in vain.

And the riches of the mortal world had grew on me.

I travelled the world, let alone the country, tasted every luxury that a mere human could only desire in his lifetime but with time, I yearned for the only thing that stayed in my heart.

"Home".

So I came back here. To Pindaya.

To Where it all began.

And something tells me that this time, it's going to be different.

Rose stopped her bicycle in front of the big house with great tall gates and she hesitated.

A man came up from the compound from right across the road and opened the gates with a remote from his hands. Being startled by the sound of opening gates, Rose looked around the saw the man.

He gave back a nod and a friendly smile while showing her a hand gesture to go inside.

"They're waiting for you Miss.. please"

Rose smiled back and faced the house.

"Well... here goes nothing...", she said and walked in while pushing her bicycle.

A big tall stone stair way was waiting for her just as she went in and she also saw a giant field of roses right in front of her.

The roses were in full bloom in multicolour and she got mesmerised for the sight for a bit when she heard a call from up the house.

"Miss Rose..?? Please this way..."

The house itself is built upon a mound, and it had to go uphill from the gates to the building.

The owners have put in a spiral driveway up to the house along with a big stone staircase in the middle to reach the main door.

Rose slowly pushed her bicycle along the driveway and finally came up to a small parking which was directly under the main house.

The house was built in multiple buildings with the main one in the middle surrounded by small one storey bungalows on both sides of it.

A man in some black and white tuxedo uniform is seen standing at the parking garage with a warm smile on his face.
