Kathryn's POV

Aivee day today before going to the Look Test with a new leading man! I'm so refreshed after that US trip. Malibu is 5/5! Sa sobrang pag eenjoy ko, may isang araw na nakalimutan ko mag sunscreen kaya ang ending, sunburn ang inabot ko sa likod ko hindi nalang tan lines. 🥹

"Oh my God, Kath, you look ravishing! Grabe ha, makapag-Malibu nga rin..." Ate Dara bumped cheeks with me. Updated talaga tong top liker ko sa IG 😅

"Ate Dara! Nagkasabay na naman tayo here. What are you getting?"

"Aivee Onda, sweetie. Ramdam ko na ulit ang fat cells sa bra line and flanks," she sighed.

"Ang dyosa mo parin!"

"Ang bolera mo parin!"

Nagkatawan nalang kami and naghiwalay pansamantala for our treatments. We decided to have coffee afterwards. Mamayang hapon pa naman ang appointment ko sa studio kaya pwede pang chumika. I'm really friends with Ate Dara. Isa sya sa mga showbiz friends ko kasi super kalog and bait.

Sa coffee shop nearby the clinic, halos tatlong oras ata kami nagkwentuhan. Yung road manager ko, panay text na sa akin reminding me of my schedule. I went alone lang kasi today. Walang driver and glam team. Look Test lang naman.

"You gotta visit me in Seoul when you get the chance! Sasabunutan talaga kita pag hindi ka magpakita!"

"Hahaha promise, I will!"

"May irereto ako sayo dun na oppa."

"Kung hindi si Chanyeol, wag nalang."

"OMG! Kung si Sehun ba, hindi pwede?"

"Fudge! Let's go na!"

"Hahahhaha! Harot!"

Puro mga kabaliwan sa buhay lang yung napag-usapan naming dalawa. Ngayon ko narealize na mahirap pala maging selective sa mga topics. All of a sudden nagfifilter nako ng mga naganap sa buhay ko. I trust Ate Dara but I don't think that now is the right time to tell her about my marriage.

Time has flown by so fast and we needed to part ways already. May TVC shoot sya today mamayang gabi pero she needed to be at the location hours before kasi ganun sya ka-professional. Sana all. Super malaking respect talaga to all artists who know how to value time.

Look Tests decide if an artista can step into a character. Natanggap ko na yung initial script na may selected lines and scenes na ipapagawa today. Unlike the other screen tests na nagawa ko, ito palang ang humingi ng makeup less version of me.

"Miss Kath, tawag na po kayo ni Direk."

"Okay po." One last look at the mirror, game. Nakakapanibago lang na wala ang glam team.

"Kathryn, sabi ni Direk, walang jewelries diba?"

"Yeah? Tinanggal ko naman na lahat pati earrings ko."

My road manager lifted my right hand. "Your ring."

Oh-oh. Agad kong hinubad ang singsing at itinago sa bag ko. Medyo kumabog ang dibdib ko dun. Walang pang alam ang management team sa nangyari although I planned to tell them in our quarterly meeting next week. For now, ipinapaubaya ko na muna kay Mama Mary ang sekreto ko. 🙏🏻
