Third Person's POV

Kathryn owns a pent house. The public knows about her townhouse in Alabang but that's not where she actually lives. The townhouse is some sort of an extra since nandun yung mga sasakyan nya and she stays there pag halimbawang kailangan kasama nya ang glam team and tech team nya for some projects. Front.

The pent house, ito ang sanctuary nya.. her safe space. Kahit pagod na pagod sya, umuuwi sya rito. Regalo kasi ito ng mommy nya and for her, this holds a special place in her heart. Dito, she has great privacy and security. May sariling elevator, outdoor terrace, helipad and most importantly, she can be anything she wants.

"Good evening, Miss Bernardo," her lawyer from the other line greeted. "There has been a change of venue for our meeting with the company."

"Kindly send the location to me, Atty."

"Sure, Miss Bernardo. Also, their lawyers already reviewed your request to terminate the contract."

"Good. Thanks po. I will be there in a few."

A little rewind from what transpired early that morning, Kathryn received loads of messages from her yaya, Ashley and Alden as soon as their moving vehicles reached an area readable by maps.

She also needs to personally meet with the brand president hoping everything goes well kahit pa the penalty is somehow hefty.

"Thank you, Atty. Kayo na bahala sa natitirang need pa i-settle."

"Affirmative, Miss Bernardo. Ingat po sa pagmamaneho."

Kathryn is finally free from worries. Pwede na syang magpahinga ngayong gabi dahil bukas, mag-hohost sya ng isang event for the first time.

Driving is somehow therapeutic for her. It clears her head and gives her a sense of productivity. She grew up with a silver spoon pero hindi nya sinanay ang sarili nya na maging dependent sa ibang tao. Hanggat kaya nyang gawin mag-isa, gagawin nya.

She's vibing with Calum Scott's Bridges when she saw a familiar 2022 Maserati Levante Trofeo parked across the private driveway of the building where she lives. She expertly parked her car, wore her face mask and fixed her hoodie.

Kathryn's POV

After a few minutes of mental debate, I decided to get out of my car and knocked on the suspicious car's window.

The driver rolled it down and I saw his surprised face. Akala mo nakakita ng multo.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Sinusundo ka," he cheekily replied. Kanina lang parang na estatwa to ah. Ang bilis makabawi.

I cringed. "Sir, bukas pa ako uuwi sayo."

"Well... 12 midnight na. It's basically a new day."

I checked my watch. 12:20 AM na pala. Fuck.

Anyway, I have to make sure that neither yaya nor Ashley gave up their loyalty on me for this guy to know about my private place. "Paano mo nalaman to?"

"I have my ways."

"Did yaya—"

"No. Not Ashley din. Basta."

Wala na akong energy makipagsagutan sa tukmol na to kaya I just gave up and told him to follow me inside. I have my private car park as well so no problem.

Sa loob ng elevator, he couldn't help but express his concern. "Kathryn, pwede namang sa sasakyan nalang kita hintayin. Ayoko i-invade ang personal space mo."

"Nagpapatawa ka ba? The mere fact na inalam mo kung saan ako nakatira despite our agreement na walang pakialaman ng personal businesses, in-invade mo na ang space ko na yun."

He bowed his head. "Sorry."

"Kung di lang ako pagod, nasapak na kita."

"Sorry."

Nakarating na kami sa floor ko at tahimik lang syang nakabuntot sa akin.

Mom, sorry po. May bwesita tayo.

"This is the only time I will allow you here, understood?"

Tumango lang sya. I offered him drinks before I went inside my bed room to get some personal stuffs na dadalhin ko sa bahay namin.

"Kathryn?" he called from outside.

"Bakit?" I yelled. "Ano ba yun?"

Ano ba pinaggagagawa nito to starve himself like this? Hay naku.

I microwaved the zucchini slice na hindi ko naubos kanina and cooked omelette and toasted some wheat bread. Ito lang kasi ang mabilis na maprepare. Looking at him now, magcocollapse na to pag abutin pa ng 30 minutes na walang laman ang tiyan. "Are these okay for you?" I asked as I put his meal down the countertop.

"They are perfect," he replied and agad na kinain yung inihain ko na parang magic. All gone in a minute!

"PG."

"PoGi."

"Heavens! Nagkasustansya na nga sya, hambog na ulit eh." I left him at the kitchen. "Hugasan mo yang pinagkainan mo! I'll wait for you at the parking."
