Kathryn's POV

Richard is the name of that son-of-a-bitch. His family calls him RJ, friends and colleagues call him Alden for whatever reason I sure am not giving a single damn about it. He practically grew up in the US with a degree in filmmaking. And of course, I can't demonize that part of him since I am in the same industry as well. Ang pinagkaiba lang namin, he wasn't able to practice the arts since his family forced him to man their business. He is currently the second in command. *cue in his annoying smize*

Right after his London trip, we met with our lawyers and talked about the arrangements. Yes, including our wedding. The contract isn't lame at all. Actually, kung may isang bagay kaming napagkasunduan, it's the divorce. The whole marriage thing is practically to grant everybody their whims: matupad ang wish ng lolo nya na maikasal ang bunso nyang apo sa isang Bernardo, my parents to save the business, his parents to be able to expand their empire, myself freely working as an actress saved from my parents' nagging, and Alden to venture new media opportunities. Pag ayos na ang lahat, we will get a divorce.

"Bestie, since when did you learn to stalk a guy?" Ashley, my best friend, bumped cheeks with me. Malisyosa nyang tinitigan yung nakabukas na browser showing an article about Alden.

"If you know the enemy, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles."

"Wow! Sun Tzu, ikaw ba yan?

I closed my laptop and picked up the cup of iced coffee she brought. "What time ba talaga tayo susunduin ng jowa mo? I chuckled when Ashley cringed.

"Lord... look at you, still a child and is already marrying someone!

"Heh! I don't need to play wife naman. The marriage is just on papers. I still get to live the life that I'm used to. Tuloy ang single era natin for today's video."

"Ewan ko na talaga sayo."

"Trust me on this, best friend."

"As if I have a choice."

After a while, Ashley's phone rang. Nasa baba na si Tray.

"I can't wait to surf again, bestie! I'm going to learn a new way to maneuver, you'll see!" I hugged her.

Lol.
