As the ten animals charged in on hoshi the Akita Inu charged forward as well, using her quirk to boost her speed immensely. However she didn't notice that Luna had managed to land one of her tiny black paws on her leg.

Luna yowled as she activated her quirk after managing to touch hoshi causing the large dog to float in the air.

Koda was slightly startled by the gasps of surprise from the crowd at the black munchkin cat having a quirk but quickly remembered hoshi's advice and imagined that the humans weren't there before asking the birds that were helping him “my winged friends please try to pull my dog friend that is in the air out the big flat rock I'm standing on! If her fur is too silky for y'all to easily get a grip on it please just use your talons to scratch her!”

The birds attempted to gain a grip on Hoshi's fur and when they couldn't they began attacking her with their talons.

After a bit Luna grew tired from holding hoshi in the air for too long so she quickly crossed her paws and dropped hoshi causing the large dog to fall and crash into the concrete of the arena before collapsing herself.

Hoshi quickly got to her paws and glanced at Luna to make sure the tiny cat was ok and was relieved when Luna rose to her paws and shook out her fur.

“Take a breather little cat, you did well!” Koda said softly yet proudly as he raised one of his hands into the air. He then looked at ramen and said, “white and cream cat! Help the Shiba inu cut the Akita Inu off!”

Ramen looked at the Shiba Inu and meowed softly causing the medium sized dog to bark in agreement and the both got into Hoshi's path cutting her off. Hoshi however, attempted to jump over the pair even while the birds continued to scratch at her pelt with their talons only to be intercepted by Ammy lunging at her and planting all four of her paws against her opponents chest pushing hoshi back far enough to tumble slightly as she landed on her paws.

“Smart play by koji!” Present mic said over speakers “I would call that the pet detour and ambush!”

As Hoshi rose to her paws she looked at Koda and said, “alright gentle whisperer.. imma end this now..” she then bent down her chest low to the ground and her tail high into the air before racing forward at breakneck speeds dodging and weaving past the birds, Luna and Ammy and then leaping over ramen and the Shiba Inu. She then lunged at Koda, her front paws outstretched to be directly in front of her.

Koda guarded his chest with his arms causing Hoshi to slam her front paws into his arms and for him to fly out of the arena as she pushed off his body and landed on her paws still in the arena.

“Koda koji has been eliminated!” Midnight announced loudly with a crack of her whip. “Hoshi is moving to the next round!”

Hoshi looked at Ammy and said calmly, “can you come with me and heal him, Ammy?” The brown and black Chihuahua nodded and allowed the white and silver brindle Akita Inu to carry her off the arena and to Koda, as she was placed on the ground she placed a gentle paw on koda and used her quirk to heal the beta.

“Thanks, Ammy.” Koda said calmly as he scratched the Chihuahua's head. He then turned his gaze to hoshi “Nice match hoshi. Maybe um.. you can help me build my confidence so I can talk to people?”

“yeah, of course I can.” Hoshi said with a gentle smile and with a wag of her tail. She then stood at the beta’s side to assist the large male to his feet. “Come on Koda. Let's go to the waiting area with the others.”

Koda smiled at the large dog and took the help she offered and they walked to the waiting area together with the animals that participated in the fight following suit.

Once they reached the waiting area they were greeted with loud voices saying “great fight guys!” And “you guys gave it your all!” all this attention was making Koda quite uncomfortable and nervous however so Hoshi responded by growling which shut the other students up, gently tugging on the beta's pants leg before trotting to one of the corners of the room and laying down, inviting Koda to join her and the animals that were already there,minus Ramen and Luna who joined Izuku, to watch the next match.

After getting some snacks for them Koda joined hoshi and his new animal friends to watch the match between Hitoshi and Toru.

That match ended just as quickly as it started. All that happened was that toru managed to land a few punches before shinsou decided to say “did you know that I know who pro hero hawk’s mate is?”

Which caused the invisible beta female to gasp and exclaim, “who?! Spill the tea! Come on and te-” suddenly toru’s eyes went blank causing shinsou to smirk.

“Toru moonwalk out the arena please.” As toru obeyed his command and he was declared the winner he just hummed smooth criminal to himself. Then they both walked back to the waiting area where Shinsou was promptly tackled by Izuku who launched himself at the switch then they were both picked up and carried off by shoto who wanted to cuddle while watching the next round..

(So I assume that chapter limit was a glitch...)
