Through The Eyes - TAEGYU ✔️

Beomgyu hasn't experienced the 'switch' yet during the weekends and now it's the weekdays, and he's just dreading to go to school.

He's greeted by the usual people in the hallways, his classmates, his friends, some girls, and boys. Beomgyu makes his way to his locker with Soobin.

"What's your first subject?" Soobin asks.

"Chem- Shit."

Beomgyu slumps down against his locker, crossing his arms to grip both sides of his shoulders. He squeezes his eyes shut and puts his head down as he controls his breathing. He didn't know what was happening to him. He suddenly felt cold but most importantly, he felt a mild headache coming up. Then, he opens his eyes wide.

He sees the insides of a locker, and a hand shuffling to grab some books out of it. Once done, the hand shuts it close. Beomgyu slowly tries to stand on his feet, still holding onto the locker as support.

'This isn't mine. Could it be?' he asks himself.

It looked like his school's hall way, indeed it was. He sees a few people waving at him, they were wearing the exact same uniform, only they were people he didn't recognize. They're probably not in his grade. It then came to a stop outside a classroom. No, a laboratory. A tall figure was walking towards him but then it snapped back to darkness, and back to his vision.

"Beomgyu, Beomgyu?! Shit, you okay?" Soobin asks with his hand on Beomgyu's back, supporting him.

"Hyung! I think it happened. The switch!" Beomgyu exclaims and Soobin's eyes widen.

"Holy damn, did you-" before Soobin could ask, Beomgyu pats his back and runs off.

"I have to see who it is!" Beomgyu shouts as he runs off.

Beomgyu knew where the laboratories were, so he made his way there, in hopes that he could find his soulmate. He wasn't sure which laboratory it was, but he remembered whoever it was, they were standing outside of the lab, beside a trashcan, and a male walking towards them. He has those clues, now he just hopes he could catch whoever it is.

Beomgyu runs to where the lab is and there were a few students outside. He walks over and eyes were all on him. He walks pass every lab, in hopes to find someone standing outside.

But he was too late. He couldn't find anyone.

"Are you looking for someone?" a tall boy with wavy hair approaches him. "You're not in our grade."

"Oh, what grade is using the labs right now?" Beomgyu asks.

"Us, second grades." The latter answers.

"Thanks-"

"Hueningkai, but you can call me Kai." Kai hold up a hand and Beomgyu take it and shakes back in greeting.

"Beomgyu."

"I know who you are. Everyone's eyes say a lot."

Beomgyu and Kai look around at the few students who were looking over at the two, most of them ogling over Beomgyu. Some of them even whispering. Kai winks at a few girls and then chuckles, making Beomgyu smile.

"For you to come here right now must be serious huh?" Kai asks.

"It's really important, but I guess I would come back some other day. It's nice meeting you by the way." Beomgyu waves Kai goodbye as he makes his way to his class.

"Did you find your soulmate?" Soobin asks.

"I was too late." Beomgyu sulks and puts his head on his table.

"Hey, cheer up. What about we go down to the bakery after school huh?"

Beomgyu's face lights up with the thought of the bakery's delicious scrumptious pastries. "It's on you." He giggles causing Soobin to roll his eyes.
