Taehyun couldn't believe what he's doing right now. He's got a pile of clothes on his bed, and he's staring at the mirror with clothes in his hands, comparing them with the skinny denim jeans he's wearing. He's acting like a teenage girl and it's just unbelievable to him.

"HOLY SHIT KANG TAEHYUN, GET A GRIP!" He shouts.

He wasn't sure why he feels all tingly, he's only going to hang out with Beomgyu, the boy who claims as his soulmate, the boy he had been distant for almost a week. He didn't even agree to hang out but there he was, standing in front of a mirror, getting ready. Worse part is?

He didn't tell Kai about it.

But he thinks he's not obligated to do so. They are only going out as JUST friends.

"Get a grip, Taehyun." Taehyun tells himself every second he's getting ready. He matches his light denim jeans with a white t-shirt and a red cotton flannel over it. After he styles his hair, showing a bit of his forehead, he slings his shoulder backpack, grabs his phone, puts on his white sneakers, and heads out to the bakery, the meeting spot.

He feels like it's still early and Taehyun's just worried if he reaches earlier than Beomgyu, it might look like he's excited about today than any of the two would've expected.

As Taehyun approaches the bakery, he sees a boy leaning against the street pole with his eyes glued to his phone. Beomgyu's wearing black skinny ripped jeans, red sneakers, and a basic baggy white shirt. It was very casual, it only made Taehyun look like he put in more effort in his outfit but he didn't deny how handsome the latter looked. His outfit screamed 'boyfriend'.

Beomgyu looks up from his phone to find Taehyun plainly staring at him. He chuckles at the younger's reaction.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." Beomgyu says, mimicking the way Taehyun first said it to him.

"Yah! That was my line!" Taehyun says, lightly slapping the latter.

Beomgyu chuckles. "Come on."

The two walked across the streets. Taehyun wasn't sure where they were headed to and he didn't want to ask Beomgyu. Beomgyu on the other hand glances at the younger from time to time to see if he was doing alright. Suddenly, Beomgyu feels the hem of his shirt being pulled. He glances over his shoulder to see Taehyun gripping it with his tiny hands. Taehyun was still looking at the street boards and the shops along them. He probably doesn't realize it.

"Are you always this clingy?" Beomgyu asks, smiling.

Taehyun looks back at the latter, clueless, until Beomgyu directs his eyes to the younger's grip on the hem of his shirt. Taehyun looks down at his grip.

"Ouh, sorry!" Taehyun let's go of the latter's shirt. "Usually, I hold onto my older brother's hand if he brings me to an unfamiliar place."

"Then-" Beomgyu grabs the younger's hands and intertwines their fingers together, earning a small blush from Taehyun. Beomgyu grins. "You're cute when you're blushing."

"Oh please, I'm born cute."

The two boys continue walking down the streets until they reach a bus stop where they take the bus to head to the mall Beomgyu wanted to go to. They started their day off with playing games at the arcade, something Taehyun hasn't done for a long time since his older brother left for college. Right after that, they both went to watch a movie, where Beomgyu kindly offered Taehyun to pick the movie. Taehyun wasn't a fan of horror movies, but he wanted to watch it. And throughout the whole movie, Taehyun didn't budge, not even from a jump scare, instead, Beomgyu clung onto him.

"You're a scaredy cat." Taehyun teases Beomgyu.

"And what are you?? A mannequin? You didn't even flinch!"
