The weekend has come to an end, and they're back to going back to school. Jungkook insists to drive Taehyun to school and Taehyun, being the unbothered and lazy king, he is, let's his older brother drag him out.

"Tell Beomgyu I say hi." Jungkook says.

"You just met him yesterday?!" Taehyun says with a disgusted look on his face.

"Yeah, who cares. If Taehyung-ssi suddenly dropped my ass, might as well go for Beomgyu."

"Fuck off, hyung. No one's touching him."

"Possessiveeeee." Jungkook teases. "You should be possessive of your boyfriend."

Taehyun rolls his eyes. "Unlike you, I don't put a leach on my boyfriend."

"RUDE!"

Taehyun chuckles and gets out from the car, making his way to the school hallway and to his locker. He sees Kai surrounded by girls, a normal thing every day. It does bother him a little, especially since no one knows they're dating. They just think they're best friends. The only ones who know are Jungkook and Yeonjun.

Kai looks over to see Taehyun and he waves at him. Taehyun waves back at his boyfriend but just when he did, Kai focuses back on the girls. It felt like a stab of pain every time he had to witness something like that. Because, they're in a relationship, but Kai didn't want people to know yet. Taehyun, on the other hand, wanted to tell the whole school if possible, that Kai was his, not as friends but as boyfriends. But he's prevented from doing so. So, he must endure it.

They did have a good relationship. He knew Kai loved him as much as he does. But, it's painful for him to keep on hiding like this and have people look at them with the perspective of 'best friends' when deep down, they were more than that.

During recess, Taehyun knew he needed some fresh air, he hasn't had the chance to talk to Kai, they only exchanged hellos. But Kai did leave him a message, asking to walk back home later. Taehyun climbs up the stairs to the rooftop, and to his surprise (not) Beomgyu was there too.

"Oh, Taehyunnie~" Beomgyu greets the younger.

"I told you not to call me that." Taehyun says.

"Because your older brother calls you that?"

Taehyun chuckles and sits beside the black hair boy. "Jungkook-hyung says hi."

"We just met yesterday though?" Beomgyu says.

"That's what I told him."

Beomgyu's phone vibrates and he glances at it but immediately switches it off.

"Chaeryoung?" Taehyun asks.

"Ah, no. My mom." Beomgyu replies, scratching his neck.

"You won't pick up?"

"I will, later."

Silence broke between them, and once again, they just sit there staring into nothingness, just enjoying each other's comfort.

"How are things with Chaeryoung?" Taehyun asks. Deep down, he hopes he isn't nosy.

Beomgyu shrugs his shoulder. "Great." He says bluntly. "We're actually going out tomorrow. I do owe her a date, anyways. What about you and Kai?"

"Hm?" Taehyun was taken aback. "We're doing fine." A smile breaks across Taehyun's face and Beomgyu smiles at him.

'He really loves him.' Beomgyu thought.

Beomgyu's phone vibrates again and he sighs.

"Better pick it up." Taehyun says.

"Yeah, well, I'll see you later at the bakery." Beomgyu says.
