Seeing how Beomgyu can't hold himself up, Taehyun asks the older to rest at home while he closes the store. Beomgyu was reluctant at first, but Taehyun insisted. Even though Taehyun wanted to know the reason, he knew that when Beomgyu is ready, he'll tell. Beomgyu kisses Taehyun's forehead before leaving the bakery and back to his apartment. He feels heavy every step he takes, but what pains him the most is that the unexpected has happened. He couldn't think clearly, he's so clueless on what to do, he doesn't know how to change the 'change'.
Just when he's already falling for Taehyun, his soulmate changes.
'Ah, is this karma? Is this how Kai felt when he found out Taehyun was his soulmate? Is that what's happening? Is that why the 'change' happened? To hurt him?' Beomgyu thought.
Beomgyu reaches his apartment and the moment he steps in, he sees Soobin and lunges over him. Soobin felt confused but then Beomgyu starts to break down again. Soobin helps the latter to sit on the couch, waiting until he calms down so that they can properly talk.
"What happened?" Soobin asks.
Beomgyu's mouth feels heavy, even when he did open his mouth, the words just don't seem to come out, only the tears threatened to spill. He feels trapped. He feels suffocated.
"The 'change' happened." Beomgyu says, a crack visible in his voice as he cries again.
"What?" Soobin immediately hugs the younger, stroking his back. "How? Are you sure?"
"It's no longer Taehyun."
"Then, who?"
"Chaeryoung."
"Oh Beomgyu.." Soobin tightens his hug, feeling the pain of the latter. "Does Taehyun know?"
Beomgyu sobs harder and clenches the back of his hyung. At this point, Beomgyu's blaming himself for everything. From the first time they made the deal about the 'change', and with the situation with Kai, he thinks its hardcore karma slowly killing him, for falling for someone's loved one.

Beomgyu chuckles at the younger's reply. Just when Beomgyu was about to take a shower, he's got an incoming call. Thinking it's Taehyun, he picks it up without looking at the caller's ID.
"Hyunnie~" Beomgyu cooes.
"Hyunnie?" a female voice answers.
Beomgyu looks back at his phone screen, cursing quietly. "Oh, omma! To what do I owe this pleasure of receiving a call from you?"
"Were you expecting someone else? Who's Hyunnie?" His mom asks.
"A friend from school. We promised to discuss our Music project." Beomgyu lies.
